Nicholas Newman has admitted he has a problem, but that doesn't mean he's out of the woods yet as a struggling addict on The Young and the Restless. Spoilers for Wednesday, June 24, 2026, also show Victoria urging Nikki to come clean with Victor, and Noah provoking Matt Clark.
Nicholas Fights Addiction

Nicholas (Joshua Morrow) has convinced his family, and perhaps himself, that he is on the road to recovery. But most folks don't beat drug addictions overnight. On Tuesday's show, watch for Nick to fight temptation. Will he win, or will he succumb to his desire to feel the way he does once the opioids kick in? He could lose his life if he doesn't beat his habit.
Nick's had support from his family during his recovery. But other family members are going through their own health matters. Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) has received dire news that she is in danger of going blind due to a tumor. Vicki (Amelia Heinle) is spending time with her mom now that she needs her more than ever. Will she be able to lend time to Nick now that he could use support?
A Daughter's Advice

Speaking of Victoria, watch for her to urge Nikki to come clean with Victor (Eric Braeden). Victoria knows that deep down, her parents love each other very much. Victor has been known to help Nikki beat the odds in the past. She was on her deathbed after being shot by Sarah, her psychotic maid. Victor demanded that Nikki fight for her life when she was on the verge of joining her late husband, Dr. Joshua Landers, on the other side.
People need emotional support when they're going through difficult times. While Victor and Nikki can cause each other a lot of stress, they can also support one another, unlike anyone else can. Will Nikki open up to Victor, or will she carry her burden alone?
Noah V. Matt

Noah Newman (Lucas Adams) still owes Matt Clark (Roger Howarth) for causing the car accident in Los Angeles that nearly cost him his life. Noah still hasn't forgotten that Matt kidnapped him and his mother, Sharon (Sharon Case), in Las Vegas and nearly killed them with a bomb.
Matt had forgotten his wicked ways until recently. He knows what he's done in the past, and he feels horrible that he could ever have been that way. But what's going to happen if Matt remembers why he was evil, or if he remembers that he didn't care that he was horrible?
If that were to occur, he's capable of reverting to his wicked ways. Either way, Matt may not appreciate Noah's attitude towards him!
Do you think Nick can beat his addiction alone? Will Nikki confess to Victor about her illness? What will happen between Matt and Noah? Sound off in the comments below!
