Sally Spectra: Y&R Spoilers October 19: A Surprise Guest Shows Up for Billy and Sally's Wedding

Sally and Billy are about to tie the knot on The Young and the Restless. Spoilers, provided to Soap Central by the show's publicity team, reveal that a surprise guest is going to join the festivities on the episode airing Monday, October 19, 2026.

A for Adam

On Monday's episode, a surprise guest is showing up at the the wedding, but who will it be? Everyone knows that Adam (Mark Grossman) is already at the wedding, but his presence is still a surprise in many ways. Adam has a history with both the bride and the groom. Traditionally, ex-boyfriends aren't present for their former partner's wedding. Sally (Courtney Hope) and Adam were involved for a while, and they were expecting a baby. Sadly, that baby, Ava, did not survive.

What's truly shocking is that Adam is at Billy's (Jason Thompson) wedding. Over a decade ago, Adam was driving one night on a dark road. He accidentally struck and killed Delia, Billy's daughter, with his car.

The truth came out, eventually. While it was an accident, Billy blames Adam for his child's death. The two men will never, ever be pals. Yet, Adam is there at Billy and Sally's wedding. His presence is known -- but it's still a surprise!

Grandmother of the Bride

Y&R has already announced that Patrika Darbo is reprising her role as Shirley Spectra, Sally's grandmother. Darbo first originated the role of Shirley over on The Bold and the Beautiful. Shirley and Sally Spectra (the late, great Darlene Conley) are sisters. And while Conley has passed away in real-life, the character is alive and well, living the high-life abroad. We expect to see Shirley pop up, but does she count as the "surprise" guest in the spoilers?

Mother of the Groom

The only other "surprise" guest we could predict, and it's doubtful that it will be her, is Jill Foster Abbott (Jess Walton). The show has already shared on its Y&R Insider Instagram account that the show misses Walton and Jill. But could that be a smokescreen that will make Jill's appearance a true surprise?

A spoiler video shows Billy talking to his uncle Snapper (David Hasselhoff) on the phone, asking about his mother. Jill wasn't well enough to make the trip back to Genoa City for the wedding. Could her condition have gotten worse? Might we see Jill show up in a video conference call as she's done in the past?
