History 101

The Abbotts have been a staple in Genoa City since the early 1980s. Abby came along in the early 2000s when Ashley (Eileen Davidson) wanted to have a baby, and she appropriated some help from Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) so that she could conceive even though they weren't romantically involved at the time.
Abby knows this particular bit of Abbott family history. In fact, as a youngster, Abby learned the truth, and she was the one who informed Victor that he was her daddy! Now, Ashley and Traci (Beth Maitland) are going to give Abby a history lesson. What will Abby do with this knowledge?
The First Year Is the Hardest

Forget about the first year of marriage being the hardest! Billy (Jason Thompson) and Sally (Courtney Hope) haven't even had their reception before they're facing challenges! Billy's learned from his uncle Snapper (David Hasselhoff) that his mother, Jill (Jess Walton), has taken ill. Also, Sally's water has broken! Is Billy going to have to choose between going to London to be by his mother's side or staying close to Genoa City to be with Sally?
Billy has had a long and complicated relationship with his mother. He was raised in New York by his father, the late John Abbott (Jerry Douglas), while Jill remained primarily in Genoa City.
Billy feels that Jill doesn't think he's good enough to run Chancellor Industries, and he's hoping to prove her wrong. Or at least he was. Now that Jill is ill, Billy may rethink what's truly important in life. The question is -- will he and Jill be able to make amends before it's too late?
Lily's Crisis

Lily (Christel Khalil) has received inconclusive medical tests that have her worrying about her future. She's beaten cancer once, but she's understandably afraid that the cancer is coming back. Initially, she refrained from telling Cane (Billy Flynn) about her condition. After talking to surrogate mother Traci, Lily reconsidered. She brought Cane in on what was happening.
On Wednesday's show, Lily is going to receive an update about her health. Will good news for Lily serve as a contrast to Jill's health crisis? Or will the two situations have their own destinies?
What will Abby learn from her mother and aunt? What's Billy's next move? Is Lily going to get good news? Sound off in the comments section!
