On the Wednesday, October 28, 2026, episode, according to teasers provided to Soap Central by the show's publicity department, Victor is going to give Phyllis an ultimatum. Watch for Claire to set boundaries with Audra. Meanwhile, Nick is going to receive an update about Matt Clark!
Arabesque Admonition
Victor (Eric Braeden) didn't like that Phyllis (Michelle Stafford) swiped Newman Enterprises out from under him using Cane's (Billy Flynn) AI program. But on some level, the mustached mogul respected Phyllis' ambition. After she returned Newman Enterprises to its rightful owner, Victor gave Phyllis a parting door prize -- Cane's old company, Arabesque, for her to run. Phyllis has also acquired ownership of the Genoa City Athletic Club!
On Wednesday's episode, we're going to see that there's unfinished business between Victor and Phyllis. Watch for him to give her a warning. Will it be a business warning related to boardroom battles between Arabesque and Newman Enterprises? Or does Victor's warning have something to do with Matt Clark (Roger Howarth), her (former?) friend?
Claire Bear Cautions
Also on Wednesday's episode, watch for the delicious rivalry between Claire (Hayley Erin) and Audra (Zuleyka Silver) to start up again. Audra proved she can make friends with other women, as evidenced by her getting along with Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan) at Sally's (Courtney Hope) wedding.
However, we don't see Claire and Audra going out for tea anytime soon! Audra has little to no use for the woman she calls "Claire Bear." The two women have vied for the affections and attentions of the same men (Michael Mealor's Kyle, for one).
This week, Claire is going to set boundaries with Audra. What is prompting Victor's granddaughter to take a stand against Audra?
The Nick of Time
Nick (Joshua Morrow) has assured his family that Matt Clark is in a facility. On Wednesday's episode, watch for Nick to get an update about Matt Clark. Nick's been keeping his family mostly in the dark about the specifics involving Matt's whereabouts. Nick's adamant that Sharon (Sharon Case), a trained therapist, not involve herself with Matt's rehabilitation.
Nick doesn't believe, frankly, that Matt can be rehabilitated! He's one conk on the head away from going back to the wicked bad guy who has tried to kill multiple members of the Newman family.
