Helping Sally bring baby Ruby into the world has caused Adam to examine his life, especially when it comes to his and Sally's daughter, who died. Sally will likely want to help Adam work through any emotions that he's having.
Sally made a sacrifice by telling Ruby's dad, Billy, to go to London and be there for his mother. Of course, she wouldn't have it any other way, but this has left her without Ruby's father. The good news is that Adam may open up to Sally more emotionally as Billy isn't on the scene.
