Nikki: Y&R Spoilers October 6: Nikki Grills Nick

No one knows you like your mom, as Nick is going to be reminded on The Young and the Restless. Spoilers for the episode airing on Tuesday, October 6, 2026, provided to Soap Central by the show's publicity team, reveal that Nikki is going to interrogate Nick. Meanwhile, Victor makes good on a promise to Phyllis. Also, Sharon makes a fresh start.

Mother Knows Best

Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) has had her own battles with sobriety. Decades ago, she became an alcoholic after suffering a back injury. Vodka became her drug of choice. It numbed the pain but made her an alcoholic. She beat her addiction, but she's ever mindful as to how easy it is to fall off the wagon.

On Tuesday's show, watch for Nikki to interrogate Nick. She's going to want to make sure that he's staying sober and that he hasn't done anything wrong or illegal, especially to the drug dealer who supplied drugs to his friend, Marie (Jade Harlow). Nikki wants Nick to not only stay sober, but also to stay out of trouble with the law, as well.

Victor's Promise

On Tuesday's episode, watch for Victor to make good on a promise to Phyllis. The mustached mogul has every reason to want to destroy the fiery redhead. She stole his company, Newman Enterprises. She moved into his office, and she hung a portrait of herself where Victor's was. The nerve!

However, Victor, in his own way, respects Phyllis. He gave her Cane's old company, Arabesque, to run so she'd have something to do. Of course, it's not that simple. Phyllis needs to acquire some assets to make sure Arabesque runs smoothly. Will she regain a place of power in Genoa City? Phyllis wants folks to respect her, and she'll stop at nothing to win (if not earn) that respect.

Sharon's New Beginning

On Tuesday's episode, watch for Sharon (Sharon Case) to make a fresh start. Is she going to give up owning Crimson Lights? She knows it's in good hands with Esther (Kate Linder). But we can't see Sharon giving up a place that has such a special place in her heart.

Sharon and Nick (Joshua Morrow) started to get close once again last year. She stood by Nick when he almost died in Nice, France, after Cane's security nearly killed him. Then, Sharon and Nick were united against Matt Clark (Roger Howarth). Is Nick involved with Sharon's new beginning?
