Matt Clark is trying to leave Genoa City, but he can't quite make that happen on The Young and the Restless. Spoilers, provided to Soap Central by the show's publicity team, for the episode airing on Wednesday, October 7, have Matt facing a rude awakening, Sharon and Phyllis making a pact, and Audra giving Adam and Billy an ultimatum.
Crash and Survive
Matt Clark (Roger Howarth) tried to do the right thing while hightailing it out of Genoa City with Patty Williams (Stacy Haiduk). Alas, Patty's instability led to the car crashing and Matt being injured.
On Wednesday's episode, he's going to be forced to fight some demons as he gets a rude awakening. We've seen how Matt changed after he got one conk on the head courtesy of his ex-wife, Sienna Bacall (Tamara Braun).
At first, Matt didn't know who he was, and when he learned of his past, he was horrified that he'd done so many bad things. Matt demanded that people in Genoa City give him a second chance, but that wasn't happening. He changed his mind several times about leaving.
He made an effort that failed. Now, Matt is going to take a good, long look at himself. Did any injuries he sustained in the car wreck change his personality again? Did it affect his memory?
Friends Forever
Phyllis (Michelle Stafford) and Sharon (Sharon Case) may not be bosom buddies, but they agreed last year, after their ordeal as Martin's (Christopher Cousins) kidnap victims, that they'd put the past behind them and move forward.
Surprisingly, perhaps, they've managed to stay cordial with one another -- for the most part. On Wednesday's episode, watch for the two women to make a pact. Are the two women going to work together to help Nick (Joshua Morrow), the man whom they have both loved?
Nick is far from out of the woods, even though he's out of rehab. He's going to need help, and perhaps, Sharon and Phyllis are the two women who can make that happen.
Wedding Protector
We've already seen Audra (Zuleyka Silver) agree to put aside her disdain for Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan) so that her pal, Sally's (Courtney Hope), wedding day is a happy one.
However, she may not be done with all her pre-wedding duties! On Wednesday's show, watch for Audra to give Adam (Mark Grossman) and Billy (Jason Thompson), the groom, an ultimatum! Given the history between the two men, we can guess that Audra is going to want the two men to be cordial with each other at the wedding so that Sally's big day isn't marred.
