Sally Spectra: Y&R Spoilers October 8: Sally Gets a Surprise at Her Bachelorette Party

Corporate raids and kidnappings are on hold at The Young and the Restless. It's time to party as Billy and Sally have their respective send-offs from singlehood on the episode airing on Thursday, October 8, 2026. According to spoilers from the Y&R publicity team provided to Soap Central, watch for a surprise guest to crash Sally's bachelorette party while Billy's in the hot seat.

Billy (Jason Thompson) has walked down the aisle before, but he's hoping that his marriage to Sally (Courtney Hope) will be his last. Instead of jetting off to Las Vegas or New York City, Billy's staying close to home for his gala. Where better to have it than his home, the Abbott manor?

Billy wasn't initially in agreement with Diane's (Susan Walters) makeover of the family home. Ironically, Billy was the least familiar with how the home used to look as he grew up in New York with his father, the late John Abbott (Jerry Douglas).

But Billy grew to accept the personal touches that Diane put on the family home. She kept its identity, but updated it just enough. Billy's going to feel quite familiar with all the family photos lying around the house. That was one of the touches that Diane insisted upon having in the redo of the home.

Billy's a lucky man. Sally (Courtney Hope) has shown the patience of a saint as Billy goes back and forth between wanting to run Chancellor Industries and not wanting to run it. Watch for merriment and more at Billy's party. Will there be conflict? If Adam (Mark Grossman) shows up, that's certainly possible!

On Thursday, Sally's party is going to get underway, and according to spoilers, there's going to be a surprise visitor. Maybe it's not that much of a surprise, as photos reveal that Sally's sister, Coco (Ashley Campbell), is going to be at the gala.

Perhaps the surprise guest will be Shirley Spectra (Patrika Darbo)? We don't see her in the photos, but Shirley's return to the canvas has been announced by the show! We could imagine Shirley popping out of a cake or making some other grand entrance. It'd be nice to see Sally's "grams" sign off on Billy, so that he gets the Spectra family seal of approval!
