Y&R Spoilers October 9: Cane Wants Lily to Tell the Truth

Maybe Lily still doesn't trust Cane on The Young and the Restless? That's certainly possible, as she hasn't told him her cancer might be back! Spoilers for the Friday, October 8, 2026, episode, provided to Soap Central by Y&R's publicity team, reveal that Cane is going to push Lily to come clean. Also, Audra and Chelsea are forced to put their differences aside, while Billy's relationship with Sally is tested.

We've seen Lily (Christel Khalil) confide in Nate (Sean Dominic) that her cancer might be returning. She went to see him not just because of his medical expertise (Nate's on his way back to becoming a doctor), but also because she's super tight with her cousin.

We know from Thursday's episode that Lily's gotten her test results back. Traci's nearby and may be able to comfort her. Will Lily turn to Cane, whether the news is good or bad?

On Friday's show, watch for Cane to push Lily to come clean. Perhaps Lily sharing news with Cane will make it all real? She may not be ready for that. Will Lily come clean with Cane, or will she choose denial?

Watch for Audra (Zuleyka Silver) and Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan) to put their differences aside. On Friday's episode, they'll be forced to do so! Both women want Sally's wedding day to be the happiest of her life. We've seen Audra take Billy (Jason Thompson) and Adam (Mark Grossman) to task for not being understanding of Sally's needs.

Chelsea is fully aware of how sensitive the situation is with Adam and Billy, and Adam being at the wedding. Audra is on Sally's team. If any two people can put their differences aside, it's Chelsea and Audra. But what's going to force them to take action? That's the question!

The First Year of Marriage is the Hardest

Sally is the best wife that any man could ever ask for. She's supported Billy time after time, played the understanding girlfriend, and now, she's going to help make him a father again. On Friday's episode, Billy's relationship with Sally will be tested.
