Victor (Eric Braeden) didn't promise Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) that he'd stay away from the Abbotts forever. He's never cared for Jack. The two men have fought over business and over the same women for decades. Why should Victor stop wanting revenge against Jack now?

On Friday's episode, watch for Victor to start a plan of revenge against the Abbotts. What has prompted the businessman to strike out against his enemies now? Is Victor going to set his sights on his usual target (Jack) or go after his son, Kyle (Michael Mealor), because of his relationship with Victor's beloved firstborn child, Victoria (Amelia Heinle)?

It's Complicated

On one hand, Matt Clark (Roger Howarth) knows that Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) is one of, no, actually, she's the only person in Genoa City who's going to give him a break. But can Matt truly create a new life for himself in a town where he's mostly loathed?

There's no one better to have guarding you in a bar fight than Phyllis. But can she convince everyone to give Matt another chance? What if he were to take another blow to the noggin and he woke up and realized it was more fun being bad than asking for redemption?

On Friday's episode, watch for Matt to give Phyllis some mixed signals. Is he trying to figure things out himself, and will that be why his messages aren't clear? Or is Matt trying to push Phyllis away for her own good? If he's not going to be accepted by the Newmans and other people in town, then he could end up dragging Phyllis down with him!

On Friday's show, watch for Jack to set a trap for Patty (Stacy Haiduk). Somehow, his ex-wife, no matter how many times she's incarcerated, manages to break free and scurry about town as she orchestrates her schemes.

Patty has Victor's money to fund her adventures, but she's not perfect. Patty's weakness is Jack, her former husband. We won't be surprised if Jack's trap somehow plays on Patty's fondness for him. She could let her guard down around Jack, and then his plan to trap her stands a much better chance of succeeding!
