Just because two women have shared the same man, or even men, doesn't mean that they can't get along on The Young and the Restless. Spoilers for the episode on Friday, September 17, 2026, have Chelsea comforting Sally, despite the fact that they've both been involved with Adam and Billy. Also, watch for Cane to extend an olive branch to Devon while Phyllis supports Daniel's new endeavor.

Sister Support

Sally's (Courtney Hope) sister, Coco (Ashley Campbell), and her "grams," Shirley (Patrika Darbo), aren't set to show up in Genoa City just yet. That's actually coming next month. Check out our story on that by clicking here. In the meantime, on Friday's episode, Sally's going to find support from maybe an unlikely ally in Chelsea.

Despite the history between the two, which includes Chelsea and Adam (Mark Grossman) reconnecting, which deeply hurt Sally, even though she's now with Billy (Jason Thompson), Chelsea's ex, the two women have mostly gotten along.

Of course, they've also been at odds in the whole Newman Media versus Abbott Communications wars. Still, Chelsea is going to support Sally. Goodness knows, with Billy as her beau, Sally needs help! Billy never seems to be able to settle down. Sally's pregnant, and she needs stability. Billy's scheme to take Chancellor Industries may not align with that. Sally needs all the gal pals she can get!

Peace, Not War

Cane (Billy Flynn) and Devon (Bryton James) are at odds. The latter isn't a fan of the former as he's hurt his sister, Lily (Christel Khalil). Devon may have stepped away from the business world as of late to focus on more philanthropic duties, but that doesn't mean he's feeling generous to Cane!

On Friday's episode, watch for Cane to extend an olive branch to his former brother-in-law. Cane has won Lily's heart once again. They're moving in the right direction. They could even remarry someday. Marriages are the unions of two families. It's in Cane's best interest to get along with Devon. Does he have something else in mind? Might Cane have an ulterior motive for wanting to get along with Devon?

Mothers and Sons

Daniel (Michael Graziadei) has drawn several lines in the sand with his mother, Phyllis (Michelle Stafford). He cannot abide her living outside the law, whether it comes to faking her own death or stealing Victor Newman's (Eric Braeden) company using an Artificial Intelligence program.

Phyllis, however, refuses to give up on her son. With Summer living out of the country, Phyllis wants especially to have a great relationship with her son. What better way to do that than to support Daniel's newest endeavor? On Friday's episode, watch for her to do just that!

Will Chelsea be able to support Sally? Might Devon accept Cane's olive branch? Will Daniel accept his mother's support? Sound off in the comments section!
