Family Matters
"She's back. Aunt Jordan strikes again," Claire (Hayley Erin) laments to her mother, Victoria (Amelia Heinle), in a sneak peek video, which can be seen here. We may learn more about this cryptic remark as Claire receives a painful reminder of her troubled past on Tuesday's episode.
Aunt Jordan (Colleen Zenk) stole Claire after Victoria, Cole (J. Eddie Peck), and the Newmans thought that she had died shortly after birth. Jordan molded Claire into a person who believed her family didn't want her. Claire conspired with her aunt to get revenge on the Newmans before extricating herself from Jordan's control.
Jordan is believed dead, but then, again, so are so many other soap opera villains who've done the (Grand) Phoenix bit. Is Jordan back among the living or has she left a cryptic message that Claire is only discovering now?
The Unwelcome Matt
Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) has stood by Matt Clark (Roger Howarth) through thick and thin. He has zero friends in Genoa City, and Phyllis knows what that is like. She supported him and vouched for him, declaring that Matt had changed. He was no longer the violent criminal who perpetrated crime after crime on the Newman family, including her beloved Nick (Joshua Morrow).
You'd think Matt would stand by Phyllis, right? He'll go along with whatever she wants him to, correct? Maybe not. On Tuesday's episode, watch for Phyllis to be puzzled by Matt's change of heart. Is Matt once again going to leave Genoa City? Or is he going to stay? Either way, Phyllis will do her best to support her fellow outcast. While many believe that Matt will never change, Phyllis believes that he has become a different man.
Playing Doctor
Stephanie (Vivica A. Fox) and Nate (Sean Dominic) didn't plan on finding something special with each other, but that's what has happened. She told Nate that her son, Holden (Nathan Owens), wanted to know what was going on between his mother and Nate.
