Promises, Promises, Some Are True
On Friday's show, watch for Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) to make a promise to Diane (Susan Walters). The couple's marriage went through two big traumas this year; Patty Williams (Stacy Haiduk) kidnapped Jack and tricked Diane into thinking that he'd been willingly intimate with her. Then, Diane was kidnapped by Dr. Laurence Markham (Jere Burns), who was in cahoots with Patty.
Jack's not one to stand by when people are out to get him, but Diane wants her husband to be careful. What kind of promise is Jack going to make to his wife? Will it be to stay out of the way of adversaries like Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) or to make sure Patty never hurts their family again?
The Great Victor Newman
Victor has never hesitated to make his loved ones' lives easier by using his great wealth and power. And there's no one closer to the mustached mogul than his beloved Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott). So, it won't come as a surprise that on Friday's episode, Victor is going to set Nikki up for success.
Will he buy Nikki her own company to run? Or maybe set her up to perform more piano recitals? Sure, it's nice to have doors opened for you, but Nikki always appreciates the love behind the gesture when Victor flexes his financial muscle on her behalf. What does Victor have in mind for his wife?
