Instead of getting a much-needed vacation, Jack and Diane find themselves going from the frying pan into the fire on The Young and the Restless. Spoilers for Monday, September 7, 2026, have Jack and Diane's trip going from bad to worse. Also, Victoria and Kyle give in to temptation. Additionally, Matt Clark shares his plan for redemption with Phyllis.
Almost Paradise

Last year, Jack (Peter Bergman) and Diane (Susan Walters) attempted to have a getaway to Nice, France, at Cane's (Billy Flynn) estate. That turned out to be anything but peaceful as Chance (Conner Floyd) was killed. Now, Jack and Diane have attempted another vacation, one that they were due, given their respective kidnappings. Jack was held hostage on a yacht with unbalanced Patty (Stacy Haiduk) thanks to Victor Newman (Eric Braeden). Diane was held against her will by Dr. Laurence Markham (Jere Burns).
Going to Tahiti, though, hasn't brought Diane and Jack any peace. It's embroiled them in yet another adventure. On Monday, watch for their trip to go from bad to worse!
Redemption 101

Matt Clark (Roger Howarth) wants to live a different life than the one he led before he got conked on the head by his ex-wife, Sienna Bacall (Tamara Braun), and forgot who he was. Matt has since regained his memories, but he can't bring himself to fully understand how he could have done all those horrible things (raping Sharon, played by Sharon Case; trying to kill Noah, played by Lucas Adams; trying to blow up Sharon, Lucas, and also Nicholas, played by Joshua Morrow, and Adam, played by Mark Grossman).
On Monday's show, watch for Matt Clark to share his plan for redemption with Phyllis. Will she approve of this plan? Phyllis and Matt are similar in that they want respect from Genoa City residents, but at the same time, they're not going to cower for it. In many ways, Phyllis and Matt are cut from the same cloth, but will their relationship stand the test of time?
Temptation Island

Victoria (Amelia Heinle) and Kyle (Michael Mealor) have already taken their relationship to the next level. On Monday, they're going to give in to temptation. Haven't they already done that?
What is the next step these two could take? Victoria is playing with fire by keeping from Victor that she and Kyle are together. There would be value in calling off their relationship, given how family members are going to respond. There's not only Victor's reaction to take into account, but also Vicki's daughter, Claire (Hayley Erin), and her niece, Summer (Allison Lanier), Kyle's former wife.
There's also the Abbott clan to consider. How will Jack, Traci (Beth Maitland), Ashley (Eileen Davidson), and Billy (Jason Thompson) react to Kyle and Victoria's pairing?
