The Newman/Abbott ongoing feud is about to take on a new dimension on The Young and the Restless in light of recent events. Father Doesn't Know Everything
Victor (Eric Braeden) may know best, but he doesn't know how far Victoria (Amelia Heinle) is willing to go to, er, get into bed with the Abbotts, either figuratively or literally. Watch for the Newman patriarch to give his first daughter his blessing to attack Jabot!
Will Victoria be able to hurt Kyle (Michael Mealor), the man with whom she's now intimate? How will Victor respond when he discovers that his daughter is sleeping with the enemy?
Phyllis, It Sure Isn't Youuuu....
When Phyllis (Michelle Stafford) used Cane's (Billy Flynn) AI program to steal Newman Enterprises, she incurred the wrath of Nick (Joshua Morrow), her ex-husband, the father of her daughter, Summer. He blasted Phyllis to the point where the look on her face read as if she'd never seen him like this before. She hadn't. Frankly, no one had.
Now, Nick is going to give Phyllis a chilly warning. He promised her that this time was different back when she was playing games with his father's company. Is Nick going to make good on that promise? A lot of different people have given Phyllis passes on a lot of things that she's done. Nick's always supported his video-game-playing former spouse, but those days may be long gone.
Later in the week, watch for Phyllis to seek help from an unlikely source as she attempts to keep a secret for Matt Clark (Roger Howarth). Is Matt the reason that Nick is going to issue Phyllis a warning?
Genoa City Happenings
Daniel (Michael Graziadei) found some peace after the death of Heather (Vail Bloom) by picking up the guitar and spending time with Tessa (Cait Fairbanks), who was watching her marriage to Mariah (Camryn Grimes) fall apart.
After months and months (and months!) of soul-searching and therapy, Mariah got her act together. She and Tessa reunited, as Daniel gallantly stepped aside. Now, Mariah's back in town. Watch for Daniel to clear the air with Mariah.
Also, watch for Nate's (Sean Dominic) family and friends to rally around him before his surgery. Meanwhile, Jack (Peter Bergman) and Diane's (Susan Walters) romantic getaway takes an unexpected detour.
