Nikki Newman is The Young and the Restless's long-suffering heroine. Spoilers for the show next week indicate that the walls are closing in on her as she struggles with her current malady, her blindness. Also, watch for things to heat up between exes Cane and Lily, while Matt Clark tries to make amends with his ex, Sienna.
Please, Don't Let This Feeling End
Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) and her family had hopes that once her bandages came off, she would be able to see once again. Alas, that was not the case. Her doctor told her that didn't mean her vision wouldn't come back, but there are no guarantees. While Nick (Joshua Morrow) and Victoria (Amelia Heinle) have tried to remain upbeat, Claire (Hayley Erin) has maintained a sense of realism that hasn't pleased her mother.
Watch for the walls to close in on Nikki as she struggles with her condition. By mid-week, her health is going to take an unexpected turn. Will Nikki take a fall because she can't see what's in front of her? Or will the "unexpected turn" be one for the better? Might Nikki get her vision back? By the end of the week, watch for Victor (Eric Braeden) and Nikki to agree to a fresh start.
Does this spell a reunion for the estranged couple? Or will they be traveling down separate paths?
Media Wars
Is it ever a good idea to try to outsmart Victor Newman? Probably not, but Adam (Mark Grossman) and Sally (Courtney Hope) are going to give it a try by having the former buy off Newman Media holdings from the latter. Victor feels that those holdings should be returned to him because they were taken from him (the moustache is not wrong on this!).
Of course, Sally might not reach her goals if she starts keeping secrets from Billy (Jason Thompson), and that's what's going to happen next week.
Adam, however, feels he owes Sally a favor as he cheated on her with Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan), and this is a great way to do right by her. However, watch for Victor to hold Adam and Chelsea accountable for their actions next week. So, it sounds like their secret deal might not remain a secret for long!
Cane and Lily
Additionally, watch for exes Cane (Billy Flynn) and Lily (Christel Khalil) to heat up. A year ago, it didn't look like these two would ever get back together. Now, they're not only in business together, but they are getting closer to reuniting romantically, too.
