What happened on The Young and the Restless

Audra found out that’s what happened. Audra found out what happens when you push too much, and the good girl you thought you were messing with goes buck wild on you. Audra, Claire, and Holden were at Society when the two ladies started a heated argument. No need for Holden to intervene; this was just going to be heated words and nothing more, right? Wrong.

It all started when Audra, being her brazen self, interrupted a meal that Claire and Hoden were having, which was guaranteed to rattle and annoy Claire. Having tried for weeks to keep her temper in check, Claire finally snapped today and called Audra out for her manipulative behavior and for always playing the victim whenever a male audience was present, and this time she was performing for Holden.

The verbal exchange grew even more heated, and finally, Audra snapped and slapped Claire hard across the face, but instead of wilting and fading into the background or even crying, Claire assumed her ultimate form. Claire took a leaf out of Navy SEAL doctrine and advanced to contact. She strode straight forward, grabbed Audra by the throat, and started to strangle her. Claire went into what fans are calling her dark mode surfacing.

After Holden had intervened and separated the two ladies. What a scene in the middle of the restaurant, and undoubtedly the moment of the week. Audra got what was coming to her and learnt a lesson on consequences and repercussions. Later, Claire would explain to Kyle that she was done letting Audra bully her and that she had made her point clear, that she was not to be trifled with. Kye was supportive, and it was not lost on him that this time, Audra was trying to manipulate Holden. Kyle suggested they work together to get rid of Audra; there was no sign it was a bad idea, and Claire agreed. Scene of the day and scene of the week for sure!
