The Young and the Restless Corporate War: Jack and Kyle's next power move could blow your mind

This week's spoilers for The Young and the Restless tell us that Jack and Kyle will make a power move on Friday's episode. What move could that possibly be, and does it involve Newman Enterprises? Is it something they are keeping under wraps, or are they going to let Diane in on it?

Kyle's last power move on The Young and the Restless

The last Abbott power move on The Young and the Restless was one we never saw coming, and shockingly, it was a move that Kyle (Michael Mealor) pulled off without Jack's (Peter Bergman) help. Kyle ordered the Abbott security team to follow the Newmans and snatch Matt Clark (Roger Howarth) so they could bring him back to the Abbott mansion. Kyle strategized that they could use Matt as a bargaining chip to convince Victor (Eric Braeden) to give them the AI program, so they could destroy it.

First of all, we have to say wow! Kyle came up with that plan all on his own? That's amazing and unbelievable, considering that we've never seen him dream up anything so ingenius as that before. He was so busy moping over Claire (Hayley Erin) that we wonder when he found the time to think through the entire plan, which involved quite a few steps.

So, whatever this new power move is that's coming up on Friday's episode of Y&R, we hope it's as good (if not better) than Kyle's move that involved Matt.

Does this power move involve thwarting an attack from Victor?

Victor is preoccupied with trying to save his own company, Newman Enterprises, right now. He isn't going after Jabot Cosmetics at the moment. So, who are Jack and Kyle going to make their power move against? Are they going to do damage control, in case Victor is planning a future attack against Jabot (which he probably is)?

We were shocked that Victor wasn't wearing his black leather jacket when he confronted Cane (Billy Flynn) and Phyllis (Michelle Stafford) in his office. He usually wears it when he's prepping to go scorched earth on someone, and this is certainly one of those times. So, where's the jacket, Vic?

Will Jack and Kyle involve Diane in their power move?

We get the feeling that Jack and Kyle are doing this power move on their own, without involving Diane (Susan Walters). The spoilers say nothing about her being in on it. If that's the case, then let's hope their plan doesn't involve Nikki's (Melody Thomas Scott) help in any way. Diane would likely want to know about that, considering that Jack is always protective of his friendship with Nikki -- too protective, to be honest.

We have to wonder sometimes, is Jack still carrying a torch for Nikki? He was married to her many years ago, so it would make sense. She even suffered a miscarriage when they were together.

Since then, she's made it crystal clear that Victor is her one true love. Jack's blind loyalty to Nikki gets out of hand sometimes, and it's plain annoying. Won't he ever get it through his thick skull that when all is said and done, Nikki is always going to be loyal to The Great Victor Newman? She will always put him above her friendship with Jack and all of the other relationships in her life.

But back to Jack and Kyle's power move. What could it be? Are they going to make an attempt to steal the AI program away from Victor? Wouldn't they need a computer hacker, like Phyllis, to do that? Are Jack and Kyle going to team up with Cane and Phyllis? We don't think Phyllis would want anything to do with Jack, after he kicked her to the curb and refused her help a month or two ago.
