Welcome to The Young and the Restless Daily Y.A.P.P. (Your After-Program Ponderings) for a quick -- and by that, I mean you're already halfway done -- recap of the most amazing or what-the-heck-did-we-just-watch moments on today's episode. Let's get to it:
What happened on The Young and the Restless

After months and months of Artificial Intelligence threats from Cane (Billy Flynn), the Arabesque owner is finally in the driver's seat. He and Phyllis (Michelle Stafford) have literally moved into Victor's old office, having taken over Newman Enterprises. Phyllis reveling over being in Victor's old office is so rich it's just got to be fattening! However, Cane and Phyllis may want to think twice before picking out new office furniture. The duo may not be in charge for very long. Victor is playing hardball with Cane. He showed up at his old office with great confidence. Kudos to the episode's director for having Victor literally sit back in his chair. That was a power move! And Victor's got the strength to pull it off. He asked to see Cane alone, which Phyllis agreed to. On her way out the door, she taunted the mogul by telling him not to mess up her desk. Victor was bemused by Phyllis's request. After she left, Victor informed Cane that if he didn't sign Newman Enterprises back over to him, he'd never see his family (Lily, Mattie, and Charlie) ever again. As they say on The Big Bang Theory -- Bazinga! That threat is the stuff that Friday tags are made of, but The Young and the Restless dropped this bombshell on viewers mid-week on a Wednesday! Some soaps claim that you can never miss a day, but Y&R delivered on this slogan big time! Deep down, Cane probably thinks that Victor wouldn't truly harm his family, but can he risk it? Tune in tomorrow!
