Welcome to The Young and the Restless Daily Y.A.P.P. (Your After-Program Ponderings) for a quick -- and by that, I mean you're already halfway done -- recap of the most amazing or what-the-heck-did-we-just-watch moments on today's episode. Let's get to it:
What happened on The Young and the Restless
Last week, Daniel (Michael Graziadei) questioned whether or not his mother, Phyllis (Michelle Stafford), had learned anything or not after putting her children through the ordeal of faking her death a few years ago on The Young and the Restless. He ordered her to do the right thing, or she'd never see Lucy (Lily Brooks O'Briant) ever again. After today's episode, it's clear that Phyllis isn't listening to her son. She not only lied to Cane (Billy Flynn) about fighting him on his decision to give Newman back to Victor (Eric Braeden), but then she literally fought him and rendered him unconscious -- right when they were making it out, leaving Cane helpless and, when he wakes up, with some serious trust issues. After he went off to dreamland (or, more likely, nightmareland), Billy (Jason Thompson) entered. The man is all on board with Phyllis's plan to take all the Newman assets and put them in her name as long as she puts Chancellor Industries and Newman Media aside for him. Phyllis isn't the only one with her hands clean in this episode. Billy lied to the Newmans, including his ex-wife, Victoria (Amelia Heinle), to stall them while Phyllis made her move. Will Phyllis lose anyone who was still hanging in there with her? Will Billy lose Sally (Courtney Hope) and the support of his siblings? Stay tuned to find out!
