Welcome to The Young and the Restless Daily Y.A.P.P. (Your After-Program Ponderings) for a quick -- and by that, I mean you're already halfway done -- recap of the most amazing or what-the-heck-did-we-just-watch moments on today's episode. Let's get to it:
What happened on The Young and the Restless

The last couple we were expecting to see paired together on The Young and the Restless episode of Valentine's Day was Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) and Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver). Not much has changed between them since Kyle exposed Audra's plan to come between Kyle and Claire (Hayley Erin). The two were as sharp as ever with their zingers. Kyle wondered what Nate (Sean Dominic), Audra's ex, was up to on this holiday for lovers. Audra always gives back as good as she gets. She suggested to Kyle that Claire was enjoying a walk on the beach. "Oh, you didn't know? Claire and Holden (Nathan Owens) went back to LA together," Audra said, pouring salt in Kyle's wounds. "Must be their happy place." Kyle did his best to make sure that Audra brought up LA, as Claire is determined to find out what happened in Southern California with Holden and Audra. Kyle got under Audra's skin by telling her that Claire wouldn't give up until she got what she wanted. Audra reminded Kyle that he enjoyed the tryst in Nice. Kyle said he enjoyed watching Victor (Eric Braeden) burn her to ashes. "And yet I always rise," Audra whispered back. Kyle called Audra's bluff on her statement that he'd never have her by leaning in to kiss her, and she responded! Just as he had in Nice last year, Kyle pulled back, leaving Audra all alone. On his way out, he informed the bartender that Audra would be paying for her own drink. (Ouch.) Some folks exchange roses on Valentine's Day. Kyle and Audra? They exchanged thorns! Speaking of points, Audra likely has one in that Kyle still has feelings for her. Perhaps this couple's next Valentine's Day will be more romantic?
