Welcome to The Young and the Restless Daily Y.A.P.P. (Your After-Program Ponderings) for a quick -- and by that, I mean you're already halfway done -- recap of the most amazing or what-the-heck-did-we-just-watch moments on today's episode. Let's get to it:

Perhaps we were premature in calling out The Young and the Restless for having Victoria (Amelia Heinle) backtrack on her plan to use her own kids, Johnny (Paxton Mishkind) and Katie (Sienna Mercuri), against Billy (Jason Thompson) in the ongoing war between Victor and Phyllis's (Michelle Stafford) AI program. Vicki rethought things and realized why bring her own kids into this drama when she could bring Summer (Allison Lanier), Phyllis's daughter, into the mess instead? Victoria shared with Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan) and Adam (Mark Grossman) that she'd be taking a page from her father's playbook. "When someone hits you, you hit them back even harder -- until it hurts! You go after who they love," said Vicki, hastening to add that she was not going to put Phyllis's family in jeopardy, but she would enlist them as allies. "Nothing will destroy Phyllis more than seeing her children align with her enemies," Victoria noted. "It will gut her." She went on to say she didn't care if she destroyed Phyllis's relationship with her children. Next, Vicki brought her mother, Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott), into her plan as she remained determined to do whatever she could to win. But we know that Phyllis herself has gone off to see Summer. Will there be a showdown between Phyllis and Victoria in Italy? Or will Victoria succeed in winning Summer and Daniel (Michael Graziadei) over to her side without having to confront the fiery redhead?
