Welcome to The Young and the Restless Daily Y.A.P.P. (Your After-Program Ponderings) for a quick -- and by that, I mean you're already halfway done -- recap of the most amazing or what-the-heck-did-we-just-watch moments on today's episode. Let's get to it:
What happened on The Young and the Restless

Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) has gotten the short end of the stick in some recent battles with Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) on The Young and the Restless, but that's changing now. Cane (Billy Flynn) has gotten control of New Enterprises, and Victor, for once, isn't in the driver's seat -- at least for now. Jack spied the mogul at the Genoa City Athletic Club, and, after giving him sincere condolences on the kidnapping of his grandson, Dominic (Ethan Ray Clark), Jack, despite Kyle's (Michael Mealor) recommendation, gave Victor a "told you so" dance that would have done Bobbi Adler proud. Victor tried to brush off Jack's observation that he'd taken a hit, but Jack succinctly fired back, "Really? So what is Cane doing sitting in your office?" Jack didn't let up, letting Victor know that the saddest thing was that he didn't listen to Nikki. "You were drunk with power. You were going to rule the world, and now, look where you are," Jack added. "By my count, it couldn't have happened to a more deserving son of a bitch." Victor shot back that he considered Jack's remarks a compliment. Of course, Victor's not out by any means, but his current predicament gave Jack a chance to rub things in Victor's face. It was a pleasure to see Jack score a victory.
