Welcome to The Young and the Restless Daily Y.A.P.P. (Your After-Program Ponderings) for a quick -- and by that, I mean you're already halfway done -- recap of the most amazing or what-the-heck-did-we-just-watch moments on today's episode. Let's get to it:
What happened on The Young and the Restless

Victor is plotting to deal with Matt on The Young and the Restless, but has the whole question become moot? We're wondering if the man is still alive, given his current predicament. He could either croak or rise like a phoenix from the ashes. Nick, at last, has learned at least something. The last time he had "control" over Matt, he kept him zip-tied up in the back seat of his car. Matt got free, caused Nick to crash his car, and now, Nick's on the fast lane to getting hooked on painkillers. This time, he's got Matt tied up in the trunk and gagged so Matt can't taunt Nick like he did the last time they were together. But why are Matt's hands held together in front of him, presumably with the same type of bonds he was able to wriggle out of the last time? Don't trunks in expensive cars have escape levers in case a person is trapped inside one? Hasn't Matt proven to be resourceful in escaping in the past? Is anyone currently watching Matt to make sure he doesn't escape? Does Matt have enough air to breathe in the trunk? What happens if he were to throw up? Would he choke on his vomit like Jill Bennett (Teri Austin) did on Knots Landing when she was tied up and gagged in Gary Ewing's (Ted Shackelford; ex-Jeffrey, Y&R) car? Granted, Jill was trying to frame Gary for her kidnapping, but Matt could end up throwing up and choking to death, too. Then, Nick truly could be facing inadvertent manslaughter charges. We don't want that!
