Welcome to The Young and the Restless Daily Y.A.P.P. (Your After-Program Ponderings) for a quick -- and by that, I mean you're already halfway done -- recap of the most amazing or what-the-heck-did-we-just-watch moments on today's episode. Let's get to it:
What happened on The Young and the Restless

Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) is a man on a mission on The Young and the Restless. He's determined to get his company, Newman Enterprises, back, squashing his rivals, especially Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman), in the process. And nothing and no one is going to stop him! Case in point: Victor gave his beloved wife, Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott), the boot out of their rebuilt ranch as she refuses to swear blind loyalty to her husband. If Victor can get rid of Nikki, he's willing to do anything! Now, Nikki's taken refuge at the Genoa City Athletic Club, and that's not the only place she's hanging out these days! Nikki visited Jack at his mansion, and the two old friends and ex-spouses got down to basics when it came to Victor. Nikki's had it with her husband lording his power over everyone. His latest stunt was kidnapping Jack and setting him up to be found with his ex-wife, Patty Williams (Stacy Haiduk), by his current wife, Diane (Susan Walters). Nikki is so over Victor pulling this stuff! She told Jack that he had an ally in her. A guarded Jack has seen Victor and Nikki kiss and make up many, many times over the years. Jack spent two marriages to Nikki, knowing deep down in his heart, in places that he wouldn't even admit, that Nikki was always going to love Victor more than anyone else. In fact, Jack reminded Nikki that she and Victor had sparred last year very severely, and yet, they made up in time for the holidays. Nikki said Victor used gifts and memories to lure her back into his life. This time was going to be different. Jack now has an ally in Nikki against Victor. Ironically, Victor succeeded in getting Jack and Patty back in bed together, but he may indirectly be responsible for repairing Jack and Nikki!
