Welcome to The Young and the Restless Daily Y.A.P.P. (Your After-Program Ponderings) for a quick -- and by that, I mean you're already halfway done -- recap of the most amazing or what-the-heck-did-we-just-watch moments on today's episode. Let's get to it:

What happened on The Young and the Restless

It was nice to see three of Victor's children, Adam (Mark Grossman), Nicholas (Joshua Morrow), and Victoria (Amelia Heinle), break bread at Society on The Young and the Restless. Nick and Vicki haven't always gotten along with Adam, but the battle for Newman Enterprises has united them, as did Adam's concern for Vicki after Cole's (J. Eddie Peack) death last year. Goodness knows, the Newmans need to be united now, given that Cane (Billy Flynn) and Phyllis (Michelle Stafford) have taken over the family company. While Victor (Eric Braeden) has used the threat of going after Lily (Christel Khalil) to coerce Cane, Victoria has taken a more rational approach, one that's less likely to land the family in jail. She's recommended going after Phyllis and Cane legally. After all, Phyllis stealing the AI program from Cane was illegal. And Cane threatening to use it against businesses is illegal, too! Vicki also checked in on Nick and his pain management. He mentioned that he recently refilled his prescription for pain medication. Vicki cautioned her brother about being responsible. Vicki is resourceful and intelligent. We wouldn't be surprised if she were to track down Mariah (Camryn Grimes), who has gone off with Dominic (Ethan Ray Clark!) Every family has a solid compass, a voice of reason. Victoria Newman is that person in the Newman clan on The Young and the Restless!
