The Young and the Restless fans react to the Phyllis/Patty feud: "Patty would devour Phyllis"

Now that The Young and the Restless' Patty is back in Genoa City, her longtime enemy, Phyllis, is not at all happy to see her. After all, Patty nearly killed Phyllis' daughter, Summer, courtesy of her peanut allergy, many years ago. Y&R fans are reacting to the feud between Phyllis and Patty.

Whenever Phyllis (Michelle Stafford) and Patty (Stacy Haiduk) run into each other at Crimson Lights, there's always one burning question that pops into our heads. Aren't there any other coffee houses in Genoa City? We know these ladies would love to avoid each other if they could! Here's what Facebook fans have to say about these two archenemies and their constant bickering.

"I'm waiting for a catfight between these two," one fan said.

"Me, too," another fan agreed. "It's going to be hard to decide who will win."

"I love the back and forth between Phyllis and Patty," one fan shared.

Another fan gushed, "I loved every moment of this," adding a few fire emojis.

"Two strong women throwing barbs back and forth!" another fan exclaimed.

That is true indeed. One fan noted that Phyllis and Patty are "two of a kind."

One particular fan gave a little Y&R history lesson and said, "Patty and Phyllis have been enemies for years. Not as long as Patty and Diane, but definitely going back decades."

Fans disagree about which woman is more formidable. Some fans are Team Patty, while others are clearly Phyllis lovers.

"Patty would devour Phyllis," one fan posted. "Phyllis pretends to be tough. Patty is actually crazy and got bodies under her belt."

"Agree," another fan replied. "Patty would mop the floor with Phyllis."

One fan strongly disagreed, saying, "I just love Phyllis. She rules. Patty is snarky but has nothing on the Queen Phyllis."

"Rules what?" another fan asked. "Her kingdom of one, maybe. No one else likes her."

Another Phyllis-loving fan said, "Phyllis is strong and vital. She's not afraid to stand up for herself."

"Neither is Patty," one fan replied.

Did Patty kidnap Diane?

Now that Diane (Susan Walters) is missing, all fingers point to Patty and possibly Victor (Eric Braeden). Patty has already declared that she intends to become Jack's (Peter Bergman) next wife. But for that to happen, she would need to get his current wife, Diane, out of the way! Facebook fans sound off on what they think happened to Diane.

"I'm thinking Diane left, or the nut has her locked up somewhere," one fan speculated. "Or Victor has her. Why doesn't Jack check Diane's credit cards and GPS?"

"What if Patty never had anything to do with Diane leaving, and [she] just took off. like she did back in the day?" one fan wondered. "I could be wrong, but I think she left Jack and the whole family."

Another fan replied, "But if she left, wouldn't her clothes be missing or something?"

Still another fan posted, "So now the question is, where did Patty stash Diane, and how did she overcome her?"

Another fan asked, "Did anyone see Diane pack a bag and leave? I didn't. Report her missing and maybe have the police check her room at the Athletic Club to see if all her stuff (phone, purse, etc.) is there, or is she just tied up in the room?"

One fan said, "I wonder if anyone has checked Victor's boat for Diane?"

We hope Jack finds Diane soon, and the two of them are finally reunited. It's about time!

Pro-Phyllis or anti-Phyllis?

Some Facebook fans commented that Phyllis is in no position to throw stones at Patty, figuratively speaking. Longtime Y&R fans are aware of her laundry list of crimes and misdeeds.

"Phyllis needs to keep her trap shut!" one fan cried. "Her history and what she does is no better. She's telling Patty what she does herself."

Another fan agreed, saying, "Phyllis is always up in someone's face, like she has done no wrong. She gets on my last nerve sometimes."

Other fans have an unabashed devotion to the feisty redhead, as one fan stated, "I love Phyllis Summers. I don't care what she does. Period."

"I love Phyllis!" another fan gushed. "Hope she gets some happiness in her life! Patty needs to go, and Diane needs to get back with Jack pronto!"

Many fans find the antagonism between Phyllis and Patty entertaining, and they look forward to seeing more interaction between the ladies.

"Now this is a great match-up. Both are fierce," one fan noted.
