The Young and the Restless' Matt Clark has caused never-ending suffering for the Newmans. Once the family finally leaves Vegas and is back in Genoa City, how will Victor punish Matt for his many crimes against his loved ones? With Victor, we can expect almost anything!
Victoria vs. Phyllis on The Young and the Restless

It's a shame that Victor (Eric Braeden) is preoccupied in GC with getting Newman Enterprises back from Phyllis (Michelle Stafford). Otherwise, he could have flown to Vegas to end Matt's (Roger Howarth) reign of terror, once and for all.
Since Victoria (Amelia Heinle) is so much like Victor and wants to follow in his ruthless footsteps, it's too bad he didn't let her handle Phyllis on her own, while he flew to Vegas. Victoria would have been thrilled if he had entrusted her with the task of reclaiming NE for him. Nick and Adam are no match for Matt. They need the patriarch of the Newman family, Victor himself, to deal with him.
But since Victor is home in GC, we can only speculate what will happen once Nick and the other Newmans return home and give him a rundown of everything Matt did to them in Vegas. What punishment will Victor dream up for Matt? Will he find a way to dismantle Matt's drug-dealing operation, perhaps using the AI program? Will he finally imprison Matt in a private cell at the Newman ranch, or will he think of another way to make Matt's life miserable?
Will Victor give Matt the Jordan treatment?

When Jordan Howard (Colleen Zenk) got Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) hooked on alcohol again and poisoned the Newmans, Victor locked her up in a private cell in his basement. Maybe he will finally do that to Matt, to show him that he messed with the wrong family -- one too many times.
The last time Matt targeted the Newmans, Victor turned him over to the police, but Matt was eventually freed. This time, Victor isn't going to trust the authorities to keep Matt behind bars, so he may decide to lock him up himself at the ranch.
Something would have to happen in the storyline to make the other Newmans believe that Matt is dead, when in reality, Victor could be holding him captive in a soundproof room in his home. Of course, it would have to be a room that none of the other Newmans knows about!
Victor will be furious that Matt got Nick hooked on drugs

Nick wasn't in the right frame of mind to drive, as drugged up as he's been. His condition is similar to the one Nikki was in after Jordan got her hooked on booze again. Matt got Nick hooked on drugs. Once Nick started to become addicted to painkillers after the car crash Matt caused, Matt left behind baggies of mysterious pills (evidently fentanyl) for Nick to find and take. He wanted Nick to become dependent on them. That was Matt's plan all along. Many fans of Y&R predicted this would happen. After all, this is the evil Matt Clark we're talking about. He's been wanting revenge against Nick for decades.
Victor already suffered through the heartache of watching his wife, Nikki, struggle with alcoholism. Now, he's going to be broken-hearted to learn that his son is also battling an addiction, and all because of yet another Newman enemy. So, what will be Victor's revenge plan for Matt?
Matt may not view Nick as a threat, but he should be afraid of Victor. When this nightmare in Vegas finally ends, it's going to be interesting to see what Victor does to him. All we know is, we wouldn't want to be in Matt's shoes!
