The Young and the Restless L.A. story: Is this Audra's next desperate step to stop Claire?

Now that The Young and the Restless' Claire and Holden are back in L.A., she's trying to find out what happened to the gallery owner Holden accidentally killed. But since Audra eavesdropped on Holden and Claire's conversation in Crimson Lights, she overheard them talk about the trip. Will she fly out to L.A. to stop Claire from finding out what happened?

On last Friday's episode of The Young and the Restless, Audra (Zuleyka Silver) did what soap characters are famous for doing -- eavesdropping! She listened in on a conversation between Holden (Nathan Owens) and Claire (Hayley Erin) at Crimson Lights.

Audra overheard Holden invite Claire to L.A. with him, since he has to go there for business reasons. Of course, the wheels in Claire's mind started spinning, and she realized that would be the ideal opportunity for her to find out more about the secret that Holden and Audra are hiding. It's a wonder that Holden even asked Claire in the first place, considering that he knows how nosy she's been about the secret since day one. Isn't he afraid of what she might discover in L.A.?

We can't help wondering whether Audra will be the next one to hop a plane to L.A., to stop Claire from finding out what happened to the gallery owner. After all, Audra and Claire can't stand each other, and no way will Audra allow Claire to uncover the whole horrible story!

Holden wasn't happy when he learned that one of Claire's reasons for coming to L.A. was to snoop into Audra's past. What was he surprised about? Claire has been pestering him about the secret for months!

By the way, he wasn't supposed to tell Claire that he came to L.A. to find Lily (Christel Khalil) and her twins, Charlie (Noah Alexander Gerry) and Mattie (Lexie Stevenson). Cane told him, in no uncertain terms, to keep their conversation about that between the two of them. What will Cane do if he finds out that Holden told Claire?

But back to Audra. Wouldn't it be fun if she shows up unexpectedly in L.A. and threatens Claire to stay out of her business, or else? We would love to know what the "or else" is! When Audra feels the walls closing in on her, she takes action, and we definitely need some action in this storyline. It's been dragging on for too long.

We haven't seen Claire look this happy in ages! We have to assume that Sienna (Tamara Braun) told her the name of the art gallery where that gallery owner worked (the man Holden killed). Claire called the gallery and left the new owner a message.

On Monday's episode of The Young and the Restless, Claire received a phone call from the current gallery owner, who was returning Claire's call. That gave Claire the perfect opportunity to find out the name of the previous gallery owner. What will she do with this information? Will she try to locate some of his relatives and ask them whether they've seen him recently?

The first time Claire and Holden were in L.A., we saw a handful of other Y&R characters there, too -- Nick (Joshua Morrow), Sharon (Sharon Case), Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott), Victoria (Amelia Heinle), and Kyle (Michael Mealor). But Audra didn't go to L.A. at that time. Will she go this time? After all, she has a reason now. As the saying goes, desperate times call for desperate measures. We know she's had it with Claire's constant snooping into her past.

And now that Sally (Courtney Hope) has asked Audra to work with her at Abbott Communications, the last thing Audra wants is for someone to find out what happened to the gallery owner. She could end up losing everything that matters to her -- her new job and her friendship with Sally. She's already lost Nate (Sean Dominic) and her friendship with Amy (Valarie Pettiford). If she loses her new position at AC and her close friendship with Sally, then she will have nothing left. So, maybe Audra will tell Sally that she needs to leave GC just for a few days. Maybe she will catch the next plane to L.A. and find a way to stop Claire from investigating the gallery owner's disappearance. Stay tuned, Y&R fans. This may be the week that Audra finally shuts Claire up for good, one way or another!
