What happened on The Young and the Restless

This week on The Young and the Restless, Devon was suspicious of Cane’s motives behind getting tested as a potential bone marrow donor for Malcolm. Cane announced that he was a match, and he and Lily edged closer as they celebrated. The nine lives of Matt Clark

Matt left Sharon and Noah to die at the abandoned gas station in the desert, but he watched them from a video feed on his phone. While driving to the gas station, Nick became increasingly agitated, and Adam forced his brother to pull the car over. Adam promised to help Nick deal with his addiction later, and Nick popped more fentanyl to be able to function. Matt watched as Nick and Adam arrived to rescue Noah and Sharon, only for Nick to collapse from taking a bad batch of pills.
Sienna convinced Riza to give up the gas station’s location. Matt called Riza to accuse her of lying to him, and he revealed his plan to blow up the gas station with the Newmans inside. Chelsea called Victor for help. While driving, Sienna noticed Matt on the side of the road and turned back to confront him. Sienna tried to convince Matt to start over with her instead of killing the Newmans.
Matt opted to detonate the explosives, unaware that the Newmans had already left the scene. Sienna later turned up at the Las Vegas hotel and claimed that she’d killed Matt, though she had little memory of what had happened. Meanwhile, Matt was sprawled out in the desert, and his eyes fluttered open.
The Phyllis files

Back home, Nick tearfully admitted his dependence on drugs to Victor. Phyllis was livid when Daniel continued to side with Victor even after she showed her son the evidence Victor had fabricated against her. Michael tried to convince Victor to buy Newman Enterprises back from Phyllis, but Victor refused to negotiate. Phyllis and Lauren pressured Michael to defend Phyllis, but Michael advised that Phyllis couldn’t beat Victor. Lauren blasted Michael for not being able to let Victor go.
Christine was sworn in as Genoa City’s D.A. Victoria presented Christine with a file of false evidence against Phyllis, and Christine vowed to remain objective. Christine warned that Billy could also go down, but Victoria contended that her ex needed to be punished.
Put a ring on it

Billy and Sally opened up to one another about being both ecstatic and terrified to have a baby. Billy proposed to Sally, who needed time to consider it. After facing her insecurities during a talk with Audra, Sally happily agreed to marry Billy.
Jack contemplated whether part of him had wanted to have sex with Patty. Jack decided to get Patty on his side to seek revenge on Victor. Patty remained unfazed by Kyle’s threat to make her life miserable if she interfered in his parents’ lives.
