This week on The Young and the Restless, Holden refused to go along with Cane’s plan to get intel on Victor by using Claire. Holden warned Lily to steer clear of a vindictive Cane. Malcolm returned to town and informed Lily that he had been diagnosed with aplastic anemia and needed a blood donor for a marrow transplant. Malcolm mentioned that his doctor was his ex-girlfriend, Stephanie, who’d become a hematology specialist. Lily hoped to be Malcolm’s donor, but she was devastated to learn that she was ineligible because of her prior cancer treatment. Lily turned to Traci to calm her fears about potentially losing another father figure.

Holden was thrilled by a surprise visit from his mother, Stephanie, who took an immediate dislike to Audra, calling her "Audrey." Holden was stunned when Stephanie revealed that his late father hadn’t been his biological dad and that she’d been pregnant with him when she’d left Genoa City decades earlier. Malcolm was equally floored when she told him that Holden was his son. Both Malcolm and Holden grappled emotionally with their newfound connection and were angry with Stephanie for keeping the truth from them.

Lily and Holden reeled when they realized they were half-siblings. Holden agreed to be tested to see if he was a bone marrow match for Malcolm, but the results confirmed he wasn’t. Malcolm and Lily headed to L.A. to see if one of her twins might be a match. Audra eavesdropped as Holden confided to Claire that Lily was his sister.

Diane reprimanded Kyle for trying to pressure her into forgiving Jack.

After witnessing a steamy encounter between Adam and Riza, Nick questioned how far Adam was willing to go. Riza arranged for a meeting between Matt and “Spider.” Nick pumped himself full of drugs and insisted on going to the meeting in Adam’s place. Nick arrived at the meeting spot, where someone forced a bag over his head. Sensing something was wrong with Adam, Chelsea decided to head to Las Vegas.
