Kyle burst into the Abbott mansion and frantically called out for Harrison. Claire arrived and asked if Harrison was okay. They compared notes about receiving text messages about an emergency. They prepared to search the house, but Harrison appeared and confirmed he was fine. Harrison clarified that it wasn’t technically an emergency, but there was a matter that required their attention.

Harrison led Kyle and Claire to the dining room, where he’d organized his homework on the table. Kyle lectured that the boy had given them a scare, and Harrison apologized. Kyle hoped the incident hadn’t pulled Claire away from anything, and she mentioned that she wasn’t working that day. Harrison claimed that he needed help with a school project, and he had a list of questions that he needed Kyle and Claire to answer by writing their responses on notecards. He started by asking their favorite color.

After Kyle and Claire answered the list of questions, Harrison proclaimed that it was time for the results. He asked Kyle and Claire to reveal their answer about their favorite color, and he was disappointed when their responses were different. Harrison perked up when Kyle and Claire matched answers about the color of Kyle’s eyes, whether Kyle was more afraid of worms or spiders, and Claire’s favorite flowers in the park. Harrison excitedly proclaimed that they’d won.

Kyle and Claire suspected the game hadn’t really been a school project. Harrison explained that the three of them had once had a lot of fun together, and the game had proven that Kyle and Claire were a good match. Harrison hoped they’d remember how much they had in common and get back together. He added that he missed Claire.

Kyle assured Harrison that the tot could see Claire anytime he wanted, but Harrison whined that it wasn’t the same because Kyle and Claire weren’t a couple anymore. Harrison asked if they were mad. Kyle acknowledged that the boy’s heart was in the right place, but it wasn’t nice to trick people with fake emergencies. Harrison said he was sorry, but he wondered if the ploy had worked because Kyle and Claire had matched. Kyle stressed that they were still just friends.

Harrison accepted it but didn’t like it, noting that it was just like what had happened with Kyle and Summer. He confessed that he was supposed to answer the questions himself for his school project, but he’d realized all his favorite things included Kyle, Claire, and Summer. Harrison bemoaned that his mom was far away, and his dad had been busy with work. Kyle committed to being more available for his son. Claire promised she’d be there, too, and she and Harrison hugged.

Claire received a text message from Holden, asking if they could meet. Claire claimed she had to go talk to her mom, and Kyle walked her out. In the foyer, Kyle asked what the cyberattack meant for Claire and her job. She replied that she wasn’t worried about herself, but her mom had poured her heart and soul into Newman since Cole had died, and she didn’t want to see Victoria lose something else she loved.

Kyle and Claire marveled at how Jack and Nikki’s friendship had survived in spite of the conflict between their families. Kyle swore he’d had nothing to do with Harrison’s matchmaking. Claire predicted the kid would go far because he was smart, savvy, and sweet – like his dad. Claire recognized that, according to the game, she and Kyle knew one another well.

Kyle appreciated Claire rushing over to check on Harrison and going along with the game. Kyle thought it had helped Harrison process his feelings. She called Kyle a great dad and assured him that Harrison would be all right. They awkwardly said goodbye. Kyle returned inside, and Harrison asked if he was okay. Kyle halfheartedly responded that he was fine. Claire peered in on them from outside for a moment before walking away.

Kyle cited his answer to the question about his favorite thing to do when he wasn’t working, which was hanging out with Harrison. Harrison squealed that he’d written the same thing, and Kyle declared them a match. They hugged, and Harrison asked if Kyle missed Claire as much as he did. Kyle forlornly replied that he did.

Nick and Sharon returned to the cottage after visiting the hospital. Nick crowed that his doctor had simply sent him home with new pain medication. Sharon clucked that the doctor had also told him to take it easy. Nick insisted on going to see Christian after getting the latest update about Newman Enterprises. Sharon worried about how Victor would handle losing everything he’d built.

Sharon surmises

Sharon imagined that Phyllis was standing by Cane’s side because she wanted control and power, but she expected it to backfire on Phyllis because it wouldn’t fix her emotionally. Nick thought he had to find another way to get through to Phyllis, but Sharon warned him not to push himself too hard. Nick refused to sit back and do nothing when his family was on the verge of losing everything.

Noah and Sienna entered the cottage, and he observed that his father looked “less corpse-like.” Sienna noted that Nick seemed to be in better spirits. Nick apologized for his mood the day before, chalking it up to the pain. Sharon relayed that Nick hadn’t needed to be readmitted to the hospital, but his leg still had more healing to do. Noah and Sienna revealed that they’d just met with Michael, who’d told them that it should be easy for her to annul her marriage to Matt. Nick and Sharon squirmed as the couple canoodled.

Sienna admitted that she had mixed feelings, since it was a comfort to no longer be attached to Matt, but also strange to know a huge chunk of her life would be erased. Sienna shared that all of Matt’s financial assets except for the Shadow Room had been transferred into her name. Noah divulged that he’d convinced Victor to give Sienna everything, although his grandfather had given him ownership of the club. Nick and Sharon exchanged a nervous glance.

Noah figured that he had a team successfully running his London club, so he could have an L.A. team run The Shadow Room while he stayed close to his family. Nick and Sharon were overjoyed. Sienna reported that Michael had also told them that Victor had turned Matt over to the police, and Matt had been jailed without bail and was awaiting a trial date. Sharon and Noah were confident it was finally over. Nick cautioned that they could never underestimate Matt Clark.

Noah planned to spend time with his family and convince Summer to return home for a visit. He excitedly looked forward to everyone getting to know Sienna better. Sienna expressed gratitude to the Newmans for everything they’d done for her, but she thought it was time she went back to L.A. Noah protested that there was nothing left for Sienna there, but she replied that it was her home. Noah pleaded with her to give Genoa City a chance.

Nick recognized that Sienna didn’t have the connection to the town that Noah did, and Sharon urged Sienna to do what was best for her. Sienna thanked them for understanding, and she regretted hurting Noah with her decision. Noah offered to help her start over, but she maintained that she had to go back. Noah opted to go with her and run The Shadow Room together from L.A. Nick and Sharon glowered.

Victoria, Victor

At Newman Enterprises, Victor stared up at his portrait as Victoria joined him. They silently embraced. Victoria pledged not to fall apart because it would be unprofessional, but Victor welcomed her to do anything she wanted. She didn’t want to think the worst, but she didn’t know what else they could do. She wished she’d better protected the company, and she felt responsible if everything Victor had built was destroyed. Victor asked if she’d ever known him not to fight, and he vowed to never give up.

Victoria contemplated what would happen if they had no moves left, since there would soon be nothing left for Cane and Phyllis to take. Victor was adamant that he’d never surrender, but he conceded that things looked pretty bad. He growled that he would do everything in his power, and the gloves were coming off to “fight the bastards.” Victor said he was proud of Victoria for being tough, and he adored her. They hugged.

Victoria asked if Victor had heard back from Jill. Victor recalled that Jill hadn’t answered, so he’d called Snapper and learned that Jill’s heart condition had taken a turn for the worse. Victoria wondered what Victor’s next step was. Victor preferred that Victoria and Nikki knew nothing about his plans, but Victoria protested that she was in charge. Victor offered to keep her informed, but he insisted that she trust him. Victoria demanded to know how far he was willing to go, but Adam interrupted.

Victoria testily assumed that Victor was letting Adam in on his plan, but not her. Victor stated that it was for her own good, and she stalked off. Victor requested that Adam help him find Lily and her children. Adam pointed out that Victoria had just spoken with Lily, but Victor explained that he didn’t want anyone else to know what they were doing. Adam questioned whether his father intended to put Lily and her family in harm’s way.

Victor swore he would never put Lily or her family in danger, but Cane didn’t know that. Victor growled that Cane had made a huge mistake when he’d decided to go after Victor, his company, and his family. Victor planned to make Cane believe Lily and the twins were in peril to get him back to the bargaining table.

Victoria met Nikki at Society and complained about Victor refusing to let her or Nikki in on the details of his plan, but including Adam. Nikki theorized that Victor was trying to protect Victoria by not having her fight dirty. Victoria guessed that her father thought she couldn’t play at his or Adam’s level, but she defended that she could play hardball when the situation called for it. Nikki worried that the situation could get a lot worse if Victor wasn’t careful.
