Cane and Phyllis stormed into Victor's office and put him on notice that they controlled almost all of Newman Enterprises. Phyllis explained that everything, including his office, now belonged to them. The pair taunted Victor to his face, and Phyllis soaked in every moment of it.

While it was fun for Phyllis and she finally got her revenge, it was different for Cane. He never did anything to hurt Victor, but Victor still went after his company. Phyllis discussed how she trusted Victor when she handed over the software. He stabbed her in the back.

Phyllis pointed out that Victor had disowned all his children at various points, had left his wife countless times, and that his only friend (Michael) was on the payroll. Victor encouraged Phyllis to enjoy besting him while she could because he was certain that she'd fall.

Phyllis warned Victor that he'd have nothing left by the end of this. Nikki and Victoria entered the office, and Phyllis refused to back down. Victoria asked if Phyllis had ever earned anything without resorting to schemes and extortion.

Phyllis told Victoria that Victor is a monster, and she called all of the Newman children sheep and minions. Victoria didn't think Phyllis was much better since she, too, needed a man to get ahead in her life.

Victoria was certain that Phyllis would turn on Cane the same way that she had done to Jack, Nick, and everyone else. Phyllis was finished playing nice with Victoria, and she threatened to throw Victoria out of the building on her own rather than wait for security. Victor shouted, "Enough," which halted the fight.

Victor kicked Cane and Phyllis out, but not before calling Cane a punk and vowing to toast to Phyllis' humiliation once this was over.

Billy joined Sally at the GCAC, and she told him she had decisions to make, so she needed to know whether he planned to accept Cane's offer. Sally told Billy that Abbott Communications was in limbo until he gave her a straight answer. Sally's stance hadn't changed, and Billy's obsession with Chancellor bothered her a great deal.

Billy doesn't believe he was obsessing over Chancellor at this point. Sally thought that Billy was just rationalizing his worst instincts. She revealed that she called Jill to tell her everything that was going on, which immediately got Billy on the defensive.

Sally reminded Billy that he wasn't supposed to know that Jill was the investor. Regardless, she never spoke to Jill because his mother's health condition had taken a turn for the worse. Billy was in denial about the severity of Jill's health, but Sally tried to get him to realize that she wasn't infallible.

Billy had promised he cared about his mother, so Sally asked him to say it directly to her. She believed that Billy's thirst for Chancellor would eventually destroy him like a slow-working poison.

Sally encountered Adam on her way out of the GCAC, but she didn't have time to interact with him. She was emotional after the Billy confrontation and stormed off.

Billy assured Adam that he had no plans to lay him out with a punch, as that would be throwing salt on the wound. Adam didn't think that Billy deserved Sally, and he also assumed Billy would be the new face of Chancellor. Adam didn't think Billy would have Chancellor long enough to do damage, so he truly wasn't concerned.

After Billy left, Adam received a text from Victor that Lily and the twins had been located. The entire family (minus Nick) returned to the ranch, and Victoria threw a jab at Michael's "friend," Phyllis.

Unfortunately for the Newman family, the AI program was so detailed that everything appeared to have been signed off by Victor himself. Victor asked Adam whether he had done what he asked, and Nikki wanted answers about what he was up to.

Victor tried to shrug off all of Nikki's worries. Victoria understood where Victor was coming from, but she had had enough of the secrecy as well.

Billy worked up the courage to call Jill, and he asked if she was going to be okay. He promised his mother he would not do anything that would cause her unnecessary stress, and he was visibly upset at the end of the call.

Cane and Phyllis retired to the train, and the mood was entirely celebratory. Cane and Phyllis kissed passionately to celebrate finally taking down the great Victor Newman. After sleeping with Phyllis, Cane received a text from Lily saying that she and the kids would never forgive him.

Abby, Devon, and Dominic returned home to the Chancellor mansion, and they encouraged their son to take a nap. Mariah looked from outside the window as the child she carried scurried upstairs.

Mariah returned to her motel room, and Ian was waiting there. He asked her how it went. She revealed that she couldn't follow through with the plan to abduct Dominic, and he was highly disappointed.

Ian recalled the type of awful person that Mariah used to be. However, once she found Sharon and eventually Tessa, she changed her life for the better. Ian reverted the subject to Dominic and got his former disciple to open up about what she saw. Ian urged her to do what she needed to do, which caused Mariah to flash back to the struggle she had to walk away from him when she gave birth.

Mariah was adamant that she couldn't destroy another family the way she had her own. Mariah wanted to take Aria instead of Dominic. If she took him instead of her own daughter, she'd never get to see Aria again. Mariah would spend the rest of her life on the run.

Ian had an answer for every reason that Mariah didn't want to go through with the wicked plan. Ian told Mariah that he would do everything in his power to ensure she and Dominic are never found.

Ian thought that Tessa needed Aria, and Mariah needed Dominic, and that's the way things were meant to be. Mariah asked if he believed it was possible, and he confirmed that it was, with no turning back. Mariah hauntingly replied, "It's time."

Back at the mansion, Abby informed Devon that Phyllis and Cane's attack on Newman was complete, and they ciphened everything from her father. Devon was furious that Billy would gain control of Chancellor, but Abby wanted to keep the focus on the real culprits: Cane and Phyllis.

Abby realized that Dominic was nowhere to be found, but so far, there was no reason to panic. They considered it a game of hide-and-seek, so they went to look for him. However, Mariah was seen driving away in her vehicle with Dominic asleep in the back seat.
