Chancellor Way

At the GCAC, Cane pitched to Lily something called “Chancellor Way,” a development of high rises, luxury retail, and corporate spaces. Cane said it'd be a way to honor the late Katherine Chancellor and would show how Chancellor Industries was expanding. Lily said she had almost come up with nearly the same plan. Cane asked what made Lily think of that? Lily said they were in sync when it came to business. Cane hoped it was more than business.
Next, Holden approached the duo’s power meeting and hastened to excuse himself. Both Billy and Lily invited him to join them. Holden said that he was determined to help his mom, Stephanie, find a place to live. He asked if they knew of anything. Holden said that he loved his mom being here, but pointed out that they haven’t lived in the same city for a while.
Holden noted work had been sporadic since Damian died. Holden rambled on about work and then stopped himself. He said he had no idea what he was going to do. Cane said he could remedy that.
Cane said that he’d like to offer Holden a job, as he’s now in charge of Chancellor Industries. It’d be a full-time gig so that he could rent or buy a place to live, as long as Lily approved. Lily agreed that it was a great idea. She just wished she’d thought of it sooner. Holden said that he’d put some feelers back in L.A. Lily pointed out that he should stay in Genoa City so they could get to know each other.
Cane said he knows Holden is a good worker. He said he respected Holden. Lily told Holden he didn’t come as if he were asking his family for a job. Lily said that she might have given Holden a job herself even if he weren't her brother. “I want you to take the job,” Lily told her brother.
Holden left, telling Cane and Lily he was too excited to eat. He promised Lily that he wouldn’t let her down. Lily told Cane that he’d done it again, surprising her.
Next, Holden called Claire. She told him she had work news, and he replied that he had some too. Claire and Holden met at Society. Claire’s happy that Newman Enterprises is back in the family and that Victor has given Claire a division to run in honor of her father. Claire added that Nikki moved back into the mansion, but they won't know if she can see till the bandages come off.
Holden shared his news with Claire that he has been offered a job with Cane and Lily. Claire said that she wished she could be happy for him, but she can’t because working for Cane could be a big mistake. Holden noted that his working for Cane and her working for Victor would put them on opposite sides in terms of business.
Back at the GACA, Cane said that he offered Holden a job so that Lily would smile. He hoped he hadn’t overstepped. Lily pointed out that Cane steps up and fixes things. Cane said it sounded as if that made her unhappy.
Lily shared that she has a shield around her heart, as Cane has been like five different people since she met him. Cane said that he didn’t want anything in return. Lily said that Cane's offering Holden a job was amazing. She wasn’t sure she was even making any sense. Cane said that what Lily was saying was music to his ears.
Billy and Jill Went Up a Hill

Jill showed up at Billy’s house. She commented on some of the decor having belonged to his late father, John. Billy asked what Jill was doing there. She asked if it was a sin for a mother to want to see her son’s home. Jill said she was there because of Billy. She insisted that they were going to work through their issues. “Let me stay, Billy,” Jill said.
Jill looked at a photo of Johnny and Katie, noting that the former looked like his dad and the latter reminded her of her. He asked his mother not to be dramatic. Jill said that she wanted to talk through things. She added that they should address how to fix their problem. Jill believed that her and Billy’s issues could be resolved. She told him that he needed to get out of his way. He accused her of being passive/aggressive.
Jill told Billy was trying her patience. He wanted to know why he was the one who was always the problem. Jill said that it’s because it is. Billy accused Jill of using his gambling as an excuse.
Jill called what she did with Billy “constructive criticism.” She conceded that selling Chancellor Industries to Victor may have been taken the wrong way. Jill said that not giving Billy full control was warranted, however. He said he’d made a few mistakes, and he wasn’t aware that Jill was keeping score.
Jill pointed out that Billy had embezzled from Jabot and that he gambled and lost the Jabot yacht due to his gambling. Jill wasn’t sure how much longer she’d be around. Billy said she was well now. But Jill said she still had to accept that this might be the end. Jill said she couldn’t imagine anything worse than her leaving this world without them fixing what was wrong between them. Jill asked Billy to go to London with her.
Patty’s Power Play

Patty hovered over an unconscious Jack in his hospital bed with a syringe. She told Jack that his decisions were going to cost him his life! Patty told Jack that he was going to have to pay. Just as she was about to inject him, a guard entered and asked the “nurse” how Mr. Abbott was doing.
Patty put the syringe away and said that Mr. Abbott had cheated death -- for now. The guard wondered who would do something so cruel to Jack. Patty exited. She snarked at the guard, calling him an idiot, who didn’t even know Jack.
In the hallway, Kyle and Diane arrived. Diane realized that the “nurse” was Patty. Kyle told the guard to chase after the “nurse.” Then, he checked on his dad. Then, Kyle called Det. Burrow and asked him to come ot the hospital. Meanwhile, Diane bolted down the hallway, trying to get away.
Kyle ran after Patty, who ducked into a stairwell. Diane called out her name. Kyle was in hot pursuit. He told Burrow that he was afraid that Patty was going to kill his mother.
The Best Medicine

Meanwhile, Traci visited Jack. She said she was confused that there was no guard at her brother’s door. She continued that it didn’t matter as she was there now and that Ashley, Diane, and Kyle would soon be joining them.
Traci wished that Jack would wake up and reassure everyone. She said that since John had left the family (he died), Jack had been the safety net for the clan. Traci commented that the love between Jack and Diane was very much alive – but that everything else was messed up and Jack was the only one who could fix things. She said that Jack needs to wake up and save Diane. Traci’s frustration was lessened as Jack called out her name.
Patty tried to enter a locked door on the first floor as she went down the stairwell. Diane was in hot pursuit as she got to the basement. “Patty!” Diane screamed out.
Meanwhile, the nurse said that Jack’s vitals were fine. A groggy Jack got upset, realizing that Patty had done this to him. Meanwhile, Diane caught up with Patty in the hallway. Patty stabbed Diane in the neck with the syringe she was going to inject into Jack as Kyle and a guard chased them down.
Det. Burrow arrived as guards took down Patty. Kyle picked up his unconscious mother and carried her to get some aid.
