The Young and the Restless Recap, March 16-20, 2026: Jack has sex with Patty, Victor dupes Phyllis, and Nikki and Diane move out

What happened on The Young and the Restless

This week on The Young and the Restless, Diane, Billy, and Kyle tracked Jack’s location to a yacht in the middle of Lake Michigan. A drugged Jack and Patty had sex on the ship. Diane exploded when she walked in on Jack and Patty in bed together. Jack struggled to explain what had happened, but Diane smacked him across the face.

Diane opened her heart to Jack. She told him she feared the worst after learning that Victor had taken him. Diane confessed that she wasn't sure if she was going to find Jack alive or dead. She did not expect to find him in bed with Patty, who had threatened Jack's life on more than one occasion.

Jack vowed that Victor would pay for orchestrating his kidnapping. Upon returning home, Diane packed her bags and left the Abbott mansion. Nikki taunted that Victor deserved to have his plan blow up in his face, and he ordered her to leave their home. Nikki moved into the Athletic Club. Phyllis spied Nikki arriving at the GCAC with a few small pieces of luggage. Phyllis and Nikki sparred at the bar as Phyllis reveled in Nikki and Victor's marriage being in turmoil.

Phyllis declared that she was done with Cane after he was unable to persuade Daniel to forgive her. Unaware that the Abbotts had already rescued Jack, Phyllis handed over Chancellor to Victor in exchange for Jack’s safe return. Billy was devastated when he found out he’d lost Chancellor again. Billy and Phyllis blamed each other for their lack of communication. Sally encouraged Billy to visit Jill overseas to make amends.

Michael expressed his reservations about Lauren working with Phyllis, but he agreed to support whatever decision his wife made. Lauren later accepted Phyllis’s offer to work together at Newman.

Nate confronts Cane about Lily on The Young and the Restless

Nate was livid when he learned Cane knew Victor had taken Lily and the twins, but Cane had said nothing. Victoria fibbed to Nate and Cane that she hadn’t known about her father’s involvement in Lily’s disappearance. Victoria left for Milan to convince Summer to help get Newman Enterprises back from Phyllis.

Adam and Nick roll the dice in Sin City

Nick and Adam headed to Las Vegas to try to track down Matt. Adam implored Nick to lay low while Adam reached out to Riza, pretending to need cash after Newman’s hostile takeover. Sharon attempted to assuage Chelsea’s fears about Adam revisiting his past.

Sienna wondered if Matt had been having an affair with Riza during their marriage. After receiving another threatening text message from Matt, Noah dared Matt to show up and fight him. Sharon worried about Mariah’s lack of response to therapy.
