Here is your The Young and the Restless recap for Friday, March 27, 2026 featuring Nikki's intriguing proposal, and Cane and Lily's bitter reunion.
What happened on The Young and the Restless

Billy greeted Sally at Society, and she apologized for leaving him for her business trip to Chicago. Now that she was back in Genoa City, she wanted to know what decision he'd come to. Billy informed her that he thought about everything, including his obsession with Chancellor. It left him reflecting on the world at large.
In the processing of trying to acquire Chancellor, Billy was blinded by what the obsession cost him. Victoria sent his children away to protect them from him. Sally pointed out that Billy wasn't solely responsible, and Victoria wanted to shield the kids from a full-scale war between the Newmans and the Abbotts.
Billy understood that, but he also blew up his relationship with her as part of his thirst for power. Eventually, Sally came back and promised him that she believed in him and would support him through everything. Billy credited Sally for guiding him along a better path, and the way she went about it left him with dignity.
Billy wanted to be a better man, but not just for Sally and his children. He wanted to do it for himself. The only way Billy could move forward was to head to London and visit Jill. Healing his relationship with his mother needed to come before repairing everything else in his life.
Sally thought that Billy making things right with Jill was the best possible idea. Billy knew that this was what needed to happen. Sally told Billy to let go of his hard feelings toward Jill because if he came in with resentment, their peace would never last.
Billy wanted to let go of all his anger because he loved his mother and knew she loved him as well. Her illness had put some things into perspective, and this could be one of his final opportunities to make amends. Sally was positive that this would be a sign of good faith in Jill's eyes that Billy was truly turning a corner.
Billy asked Sally if she would be willing to accompany him to London. She was surprised that Billy would want her to tag along. Sally thought she might be in the way of helping Billy patch things up with his mother. Billy felt like having Sally there would be a good way to keep the peace in case things went sideways.
Billy confessed that although he knew he could handle it on his own, he wished Sally would come with him. If it wasn't the right time for her to leave her new company, he understood. Ultimately, Sally agreed to run the company from London while they made their visit.

At the Abbott mansion, Jack made tea for himself and Nikki, even though no amount of tea would relax their nerves. Nikki was simply happy to see Jack at home and in one piece. She explained that she moved out of the ranch after learning what Victor did to him. Nikki felt like it was too horrific to stand by and enable her husband.
Jack hated Victor, but he hated that his conflict with Victor had widened the rift in her marriage. Nikki said her recent fight with Victor was the worst they'd ever had. Victor considered Nikki disloyal and refused to accept her friendship with Jack any further.
Jack assumed Nikki had moved out on her own, but she told him Victor had kicked her out of the house. Jack didn't think that Victor deserved to be with Nikki, and she agreed. However, Nikki couldn't help worry about the entire family following the loss of their empire.
After Victor took such drastic steps, despite the ongoing issues surrounding their children, it was a major red flag about her husband's mental state. Jack understood that Nikki would be concerned about Victor, but he was confident that he could handle himself.
Nikki wasn't sure if she was enough of a support system to keep her family together. Jack was grateful to have a friend like Nikki who was always by his side, even at the detriment of her own marriage. He apologized for putting her in this position, and it was more than the kidnapping. The feud between Jack and Victor had consistently placed Nikki in the middle.
Nikki recognized that Jack's situation could have had a far worse outcome. Jack pointed out that although Victor got Chancellor back, Phyllis still controlled the rest of Newman Enterprises. They knew Victor would never allow that to continue.
Nikki told Jack that she ran into Diane, and she saw how terribly upset she was. She also knew that Jack wasn't alone on the yacht, but she didn't think he'd do anything to hurt Diane. Nikki offered to speak to Diane on his behalf. However, Jack believed he needed to handle it on his own.
Nikki asked what happened on the yacht. However, Jack wasn't ready to dive into the details. He regretted allowing himself to get entangled with the person who was on board with him. Nikki placed all of the blame on Victor and added that the woman was just "added revenge" for her husband.
Jack planned to go on the offensive and take Victor down. If Victor felt like he had nothing to lose, Jack was ready to make him pay for the pain and suffering he caused the Abbott family. He asked Nikki to tell him then if she had a problem with his new mission.
Nikki tried to protect Victor from his worst instincts, but since he kicked her out, she confirmed that she wouldn't stand in Jack's way. This time, Nikki wanted to help Jack teach Victor the lesson he deserved.

Lily wanted to know if Victor had his company back, and if he did, she wanted him to sign Chancellor over to her and Devon. Lily called Victor out for avoiding her question, and he admitted that it wasn't a real answer. He explained that there was a change of plans, and things hadn't gone the way he had anticipated.
Lily's heart sank, realizing she might've been conned yet again by Victor and left with nothing. She asked for clarification about what he meant. Victor vowed to make a few adjustments, and although Cane was on track to hand everything back to him, Phyllis caused a wrinkle in the plan.
Phyllis double crossing Cane left her in complete control of Newman Enterprises. Cane lost his bargaining chip, but Lily questioned why he waited so long to fill her in. She pleaded with Victor to explain how this new development would alter their existing agreement.
Victor assured Lily that he was going to eventually make good on his promise to hand over Chancellor. Since Victor already had control of Chancellor, Lily was ready for the paperwork to be drawn up, so she could run the company. However, Victor wanted to use Chancellor to get the rest of Newman from Phyllis.
Lily snapped at Victor for lying to her again. She was forced to upend her entire life and lie to everyone, including Devon, who was scared to death about her disappearance. Lily had no idea how she was going to explain any of it to her brother.
Victor was certain that Devon would eventually understand, once Chancellor was folded into their family company. Lily thought she was stupid for trusting Victor again. She allowed her anger toward Cane to cloud her better judgment. Victor assured her that it was only a temporary setback, but she questioned whether history would repeat itself.
Victor claimed that he'd make good on his promise once he successfully crushed Phyllis. Lily had no choice but to trust Victor, because if she didn't, the pain she put everyone through would've been for nothing. Lily asked if Nikki was on board with the plan, but Victor informed her that she had no part in it.

Phyllis spotted Cane sitting alone at the GCAC bar, and she commented that it was sad to see him drinking at breakfast. Cane wasn't in the mood to deal with Phyllis. She brought him his Aristotle Dumas persona and recalled how she had caused the downfall of his entire empire.
Phyllis asked if losing Lily and the twins was the reason for his crinkled attitude. She again told him her belief that they were never in any danger, so Cane asked her if she knew. Phyllis asked what Cane was referring to, and he reminded her that since the beginning, she had been extremely confident that his family was fine.
Cane suggested that Phyllis helped Victor, and her face shifted to a puzzled expression. Phyllis had no idea what Cane was talking about. Cane scoffed at Phylls' feeling that she'd remain on top of the world, but he warned her the bomb would inevitably drop.
Cane made a dig at Phyllis about her children, but she didn't take the bait. The conversation with Daniel was supposed to be a game-changer, but she considered it to be a failure. Cane accused her of being the cause of her own downfall because the wound was too deep.
Phyllis wanted to know what was going on because Cane's level of animosity was somewhat unusual. She asked the bartender to get Cane a coffee because he was drinking far too much at breakfast. Cane stormed away from the bar after demanding that Phyllis stay out of his life.
Lauren showed up as Cane was leaving, and she observed that it didn't seem like a pleasant interaction. She asked what she and Cane were arguing about, but Phyllis didn't feel sorry for him. Cane, drowning his sorrows in a liquid breakfast, wasn't their problem.

Cane returned to his train, and he asked Amanda if his company could be rebuilt. After he got off the phone, he turned around and found Lily standing in the doorway. She hoped he'd be glad to see her in one piece, especially after viewing the video he filmed for her.
Cane doubted the sincerity of her concern for him. He discussed how worried he was and that she must have gotten what she wanted. Cane knew that she had cut a deal with Victor, and she was in on the "kidnapping" from the start. Lily defended her actions, claiming she had genuine reasons for what she did.
Lily pointed out that Cane wasn't a victim in all of this. He reminded her that if she watched his video, she would see his regrets. Not reaching out was a gut punch. Cane said that Lily allowing him to believe that his family was in danger was "beyond cruelty." He let her know she shattered him and that he was officially out of her life. Cane told her, "I don't ever wanna see you again."

In Las Vegas, Nick tossed and turned on the couch, having some sort of nightmare that left Adam concerned. Adam tried to wake his brother, and once Nick finally came to, he pointed out how bad Nick looked. Meanwhile, Adam's phone continued to ring.
Nick told Adam that he was fine, but Adam didn't agree. The nightmare took Nick to a deeply dark place, and Adam asked what it was about. Nick dreamed about facing off against Matt Clark, but this time, Matt was winning.
Nick felt like the call was probably from Riza, and although Adam didn't think so, when he checked his phone, it was indeed from her. Nick pleaded with Adam to call Riza back as quickly as possible, but Adam wasn't sure if she was even mixed up with Matt.
Adam asked his brother to calm down so he could call her back. Riza called Adam from the casino, and she asked him to meet her downstairs. Adam thought it was a good sign, and Nick asked if Adam was prepared to dive back into his old lifestyle.
Downstairs, Riza wanted to know if Adam still possessed any of his previous skills as Spider. Adam recalled that poker was his game, not blackjack, but she put him to rest regardless. Riza knew of a private high-stakes game, and if he performed well, she'd bring him back into the fold.
In the hotel room, Nick continued to writhe in pain. There was a knock at the door, and a man named Joe entered. Nick wanted a good time, and the man had access to the things he needed to make it happen. Nick handed the man a wad of cash, and Joe left to secure the appropriate goods.
