The Young and the Restless Recap, March 30-April 3, 2026: Adam makes inroads with Riza, Matt resurfaces, and Nick’s addiction intensifies

What happened on The Young and the Restless

This week on The Young and the Restless, Devon and Nate were livid when Lily informed them her kidnapping had been a ruse to force Cane to return Newman Enterprises to Victor. Devon advised Lily to cut her losses and walk away from her deal with Victor. Abby and Devon fumed over Mariah accepting a plea deal and avoiding any legal consequences for taking Dominic.

Goodbye, for now

Mariah and Tessa shared a tearful goodbye before Sharon took Mariah to the psychiatric facility for treatment. Tessa and Daniel accepted Danny’s offer to join him for his concert in Barcelona, but they agreed they were taking the trip only as friends.

A not very dear Phyllis letter

Victoria returned from Milan and took pleasure in delivering a scathing letter from Summer to Phyllis. Phyllis was hurt to read that her daughter wanted nothing to do with her. When Daniel echoed the sentiment, Phyllis vowed to do everything on her own.

Coffee talk

Nate confronted Victoria about keeping him in the dark about Lily and Victor working together. Victoria supported Victor and blamed Jack for what happened on the yacht. Kyle was enraged that Victoria and Claire refused to hold Victor responsible for his actions. Victor invited Claire to join him and Victoria in using Chancellor as a weapon to get Newman back. Diane continued to dodge Jack’s attempts to reach out to her.

Sienna worried that Matt might be using Riza as a red herring to get Nick out of town. Matt and Riza were revealed to be partners, both romantically and professionally. Riza continued to plant passionate kisses on Adam, but balked at introducing him to her partner. After Adam proved himself by cleaning out his opponents at a poker game, Riza agreed to set up a meeting between Matt and “Spider.”

The Nick of time

Nick scored drugs off a local Vegas dealer, who gave him fentanyl pills along with a baggie of another drug. Nick nearly passed out while on a call with Sharon and Chelsea, who sensed something was off with him. Nick had a sudden burst of energy after taking the drugs.

Sienna does a pre-emptive block

Sienna caught Noah and Audra in a close moment while reminiscing about their past. Holden cautioned Audra against pursuing Noah. Cane instructed Holden to make a move on Victor.
