Y&R: The Young and the Restless Recap, October 19-23, 2026: Billy and Sally Wed, Adam Delivers Baby Ruby, and Jill Suffers a Heart Attack

On The Young and the Restless from Monday, October 19 through Friday, October 23, 2026, Ruby was born on Billy and Sally’s wedding day, Adam struggled with his emotions, Jill’s life hung in the balance, and Victoria and Kyle made secret travel plans.

Here Comes the Bride … and the Baby

Sally’s grandmother, Shirley, made a surprise appearance to walk Sally down the aisle. Billy and Sally exchanged heartfelt vows and were declared husband and wife. Ashley admitted that she finally saw how much the couple truly loved one another. Cane hinted that he’d like to propose to Lily again. Despite their attempts to behave, Billy and Adam couldn’t resist needling one another.

As the wedding guests celebrated at the reception, Billy and Cane received word from Snapper that Jill had suffered a heart attack and might not survive surgery. Touched by the note Billy had given her before the ceremony, Sally retreated to her bridal suite to prepare an equally romantic gesture for him. Adam followed Sally to offer his private congratulations, and her water suddenly broke. After Billy failed to answer Adam’s desperate calls, Adam helped Sally deliver a healthy baby girl.

London Calling

Cane prepared to leave for London, but Billy insisted on talking to Sally about the situation first. Billy bristled when he found Adam in Sally’s room, but he was overwhelmed with emotion when Sally introduced him to his baby daughter, whom she decided to name Ruby. Billy mentioned an idea for a possible middle name, but he wasn’t ready to reveal it yet.

Lily learned that the test results to determine if her cancer had returned were negative. Lily raced to find Cane before he left, and they joyously embraced. Cane offered to update once he assessed Jill’s situation in person.

Sally sensed that Billy was hiding something, but he hid the truth about Jill’s condition until after she and Ruby were examined at the hospital. Sally was adamant that Billy visit his mother.

Holding Out for a Hero

Victor and Nick worried about the emotional toll delivering Sally’s baby had taken on Adam, who insisted he was fine. Adam confided to Chelsea that holding Ruby had stirred up memories of grieving Ava. Chelsea and Adam visited Sally and Ruby, and Billy commended Adam for his heroism.

Victoria freaked out when Kyle planted a passionate kiss on her at an empty Crimson Lights, stressing that they couldn’t be caught. Victor asked Victoria to go to London to take care of some business matters. Victoria invited Kyle to covertly join her for an overseas getaway. Kyle invented an excuse to fly to London for Jabot.

Mariah tried to convince Sharon that becoming Matt’s therapist was unethical, but Sharon believed it would give her closure to make sure he was contained or reformed. Nick reported that Matt had checked himself into a psychiatric facility and begged Sharon not to get involved in Matt’s care.
