On the Monday, October 19, 2026 episode of The Young and the Restless, Shirley made a surprise appearance, Billy and Sally exchanged heartfelt vows, and Adam scrambled to help when Sally’s water broke.

Day of True Destiny

At the Athletic Club, the wedding guests gasped as a curtain was drawn to reveal Sally in her bridal gown. “You weren’t going to do this without me, were you?” Sally’s grandmother, Shirley, asked as she appeared by Sally’s side. “Grams” declared that someone had to walk Sally down the aisle, and they proceeded toward Billy. Billy lifted Sally’s veil from her face, and they beamed at one another.

The minister asked who was giving Sally to be married, and Shirley responded, “Depends on the price!” As the guests chuckled, Billy swore he’d give every penny he had. Shirley declared him a keeper and granted her blessing.

The minister explained that his pastor father and John used to play golf together, and John had opened up about how he’d been nervous about being too old to be a father to Billy. The minister continued that Billy had become the center of John’s world, and he considered it destiny that the son of that pastor had been chosen to officiate at the wedding of John’s boy.

Until Death Do We Part

The minister prompted the couple to say their own vows. Sally thought it seemed like a dream, but Billy insisted it was real. Sally cried that life had rarely been that good to her, but she’d always known she’d find a man who would love her with his whole heart and who she would love with all of hers. Sally proclaimed that every past heartbreak had led her to her true north star – Billy.

Sally applauded Billy for making her realize she could reach for the stars and knowing what she needed before she did. Sally continued that she wanted to be a wife who loved with her whole heart, listened before reacting, and considered before speaking. She added that she was grateful to have a chance to love a good man like Billy, who had a strong heart and was always up for adventure. Sally was honored to share life’s adventure with him.

Billy realized he’d forgotten his notes, so he decided to improvise. He rambled off sayings from the Great Gatsby era to describe Sally. “You are my everything,” he firmly stated, confident that he was a better man than he’d ever been because of her. Billy added that he was excited and ready for the future because he’d have her by his side for the rest of his life. The minister led Billy and Sally through the exchange of rings and declared them husband and wife.

Mixing and Mingling

As Billy and Sally made the rounds amongst their guests, Shirley explained that Great Aunt Sally had insisted that “Grams” attend the wedding to make sure Billy was for real. Ashley admitted that she’d seen how in love the couple was during their moving vows, and she couldn’t be happier for them.

Kyle cheerfully greeted Audra, but she suspiciously waited for a follow-up insult. Victoria watched them from across the room. Chelsea sensed prickliness between Coco and Lauren, who conceded that their backstory wasn’t appropriate to share at a wedding. Things were equally awkward when Coco met Adam for the first time in person.

Lily called it a beautiful ceremony, and Cane wondered if she felt pressure to top it at their own wedding. He readily agreed to marry her but recognized that she wasn’t ready for that step.

Sally gushed that she’d loved Billy’s pre-wedding note. Audra and Coco escorted Sally upstairs to change into her reception gown. Billy rounded up the guests to head to the lounge for drinks and dancing.

Party Time

With the party in full swing, Traci urged Lily to think about how often small miracles happened. Cane invited Traci to dance. Adam and Chelsea were pleased when Johnny not only mentioned that he still talked to Connor regularly but also referred to them being brothers. Michael hinted to Diane that he might not be available to clean up any mess in the feud between Jabot and Vibrante. Diane predicted that she wouldn’t be the one in need of his services.

Ashley, Traci, and Victoria reflected on how Johnny and Katie had grown. Ashley and Traci compared notes about how Kyle hadn’t always been an angel, and Traci remembered he’d been obsessed with weddings, always taking their rings from their jewelry boxes. Victoria squirmed when Ashley commented that the kids weren’t the only ones getting older.

Chelsea was proud of Adam for avoiding causing any tension. Adam reasoned that he’d given his word, and Billy hadn’t done anything to make him go back on it. Billy overheard and grumbled that it would be a first if Adam stuck to his word. Adam politely congratulated Billy and walked away. Billy promised that nothing would ruin the day for Sally.

Cane congratulated Billy on a perfect wedding where nothing had gone wrong, but Billy cautioned that it was still early. Billy wished his mom had been there to hear his vows. Cane pointedly remarked that sometimes it took a scare to realize how much someone meant.

Kyle told Victoria that it was taking all his willpower not to pull her into the coat closet and have his way with her. Audra was surprised to see them together again, and she observed that she didn’t see any sparks in the supposed battle between Jabot and Vibrante. Victoria and Kyle promised it would be explosive.

Jack, Ashley, and Traci offered Billy words of wisdom about marriage. Shirley scoffed at the Abbott siblings giving marital advice with their track records, but she ultimately conceded that they weren’t so bad. Billy initiated a group hug.

Snapper called Billy and insisted that they get on a three-way call with Cane. Billy and Cane learned that Jill was in the hospital after a cardiac event.

Labor Pains

In Sally’s suite, Sally was determined to do something to match the note Billy had given her, but Coco protested that everyone was waiting for Sally at the reception. After Sally finished changing outfits, she cringed in pain. Audra prepared to get Billy, but Sally chalked the baby’s hard kick up to the tot being ready to party.

Adam lurked nearby as Sally, Audra, and Coco descended the stairs. Sally suddenly had a brainstorm about what to do for Billy, and she went back to her suite. Audra and Coco headed to the reception, while Adam followed Sally.

In her suite, Sally searched for something to write on. Adam showed up and explained that he’d just wanted to congratulate her away from the crowd. Adam relayed that Billy had made it clear he wasn’t happy with Adam’s presence, but he just wanted Sally to be happy. Sally tried to brush Adam off, but she suddenly doubled over.

Adam suggested that Sally go to the hospital, but she refused to miss her reception because of false labor. He offered to call Audra or Billy. Sally realized that things felt different, and she panicked when her water broke.
