On The Young and the Restless from Monday, October 5, through Friday, October 9, 2026, Phyllis invested in herself, Matt Clark struggled with his demons, Sally seemingly went into labor, and Lily hid her fears from Cane.
Prime Real Estate

Phyllis bought the Athletic Club and the office building across from Newman Enterprises from Cane, who warned her not to repeat the mistakes he’d made as Aristotle Dumas. Daniel worried about Phyllis’ motives after she revealed that she’d taken out multiple loans to finance the real estate purchase. Phyllis uses the moment to ask him to work with her again. Daniel called Summer to reason with their mother. Phyllis broke down when Summer rejected her attempt to reconcile.
Victor and Adam became concerned when both Nick and Joe went missing. Detective Burrow was suspicious when Victor corroborated Nick’s story about his altercation with the dealer a little too exactly.
Sharon showed off the redecorated cottage to Mariah, who wondered about Sharon’s future with Nick. Sharon swore that her romantic past with Nick was over, but she was still concerned about him. Nikki turned to Sharon for support to help Nick through whatever had happened with Joe. Meanwhile, Nick told an unconscious Marie that he’d made sure Joe would never sell anyone drugs again. Later, Nick pulled Joe’s drug stash from his pocket.
Sharon and Phyllis joined forces to confront Nick, who felt ambushed. Sharon noticed his bruised hand, and Phyllis advised him against returning to rehab. Phyllis whisked Nick and Sharon off to the Athletic Club to relax and revealed that she was the new owner.
Inner Demons

While driving away from Genoa City, Matt tried to convince Patty to turn herself in. Patty accused him of setting her up so he could return to Phyllis. Patty shared memories of growing up in a loving home, and Matt questioned what her sweet childhood self would think of the things she’d done. Patty adamantly refused to be locked up again and grabbed the steering wheel, causing the car to crash.
Matt regained consciousness after the accident and found that Patty had fled. He made his way back to Genoa City and checked back into the motel, where he struggled with whether to warn people that Patty had escaped or to return to his dark side.
Lily confided in Devon about waiting for test results to determine if her cancer had returned. Devon and Nate supported Lily, who continued to hide her possible medical crisis from Cane. Nate was surprised when Devon opined that Lily should tell Cane. Cane sensed something was off when Devon acted civil toward him.
Party On

Esther groused about being the only one in her family who hadn’t been invited on Gloria’s cruise, prompting Sally to invite Esther to her bachelorette party. Chelsea and Audra learned that many of the guests couldn’t attend the event due to a stomach bug and rounded up extra women to join them. Sally was thrilled when her sister, Coco, made a surprise appearance. Sally was touched when Audra presented her with the traditional something old, new, borrowed, and blue, including a blue brooch once belonging to Katherine that Jill had sent.
At Billy’s bachelor party, Kyle, Cane, Michael, Jack, and Billy good-naturedly roasted each other. Jack gave a heartfelt toast about Billy becoming the man he’d always wanted to be.
Abby interrupted the party by calling Billy to report that Sally had been rushed to the hospital after experiencing what seemed to be contractions. Sally suffered flashbacks of losing Ava, but it turned out to be a false alarm. Coco thanked Audra for being a good friend to Sally. Audra and Chelsea declared a truce.
Traci comforted Lily, who received news that her tests were inconclusive. Lily asked to meet with Cane and tried to cover her distress by kissing him, but he demanded to know what she was hiding. Meanwhile, Traci broke down in tears to Jack over how much she missed Colleen.
