Kyle surprised Victoria by renting an apartment where they could meet discreetly to continue their secret affair. They played a flirty stripping game to get to know one another better and ended up having sex. Victoria reiterated that they weren’t dating, and Kyle admitted that sneaking around turned him on.

Kyle ran into Victoria and Claire at Society, and he and Victoria squirmed when Claire rambled on about memories with Kyle and Harrison. Victoria and Kyle later agreed their relationship was complicated but very different from what he’d shared with Claire. Victoria and Kyle updated their phones with code names Natasha and Boris to keep their affair under wraps.

Nick was livid when Victor’s men hauled Matt to the Newman ranch. Matt revealed that he’d been about to leave town with Patty, hoping to convince her to turn herself in. Before leaving, Matt hinted to Nick that Phyllis could use a friend. Victor gushed to Victoria and Nick about how much family meant to him.

Phyllis offered to buy the properties Cane had acquired when he’d returned to Genoa City, including the Athletic Club. Cane guessed that she planned to resurrect his original plan to take over all the other major companies in town. Nick warned Cane to stay away from Phyllis, but Cane insisted that Phyllis was the predator, not him.

Victor gifted Nikki with a charm bracelet to symbolize her future success at Vibrante. Nick accepted Jack’s offer to be his sponsor. Jack assuaged Diane’s fears that being a sponsor would be triggering for him. Diane later accused Nikki of undermining Jack and Diane’s marriage by constantly running to him for advice. The women braced for their companies to do battle.

Temper, Temper

Nick's former dealer, Joe, showed up at Crimson Lights and bragged to Nick that he’d recently sold drugs to Marie. A furious Nick threw Joe out of the coffeehouse. Adam learned that Marie was in rough shape after overdosing at the same motel where she and Nick had stayed. After the Newmans gently broke the news to Nick, Sharon tried to calm him down, but he was determined to deal with Joe himself.

Nick later sported a bloodied hand and told Victor and Adam that he’d worked with Detective Burrow to catch Joe dealing, but things had gone awry when Joe had run off. Nick relayed the same story to Burrow, who cautioned Nick not to take matters into his own hands. Nick flashed back to beating the dealer unconscious in an alley.

Upset about Nick, Victoria retreated to the secret love nest and broke down in tears upon finding herself alone. The next day, Kyle awakened her from a nightmare. Kyle comforted Victoria by assuring her that both she and Nick were loved.

Around Town

Phyllis was irritated to walk in on Daniel opening up to Christine about his problems with his mother. Phyllis was even more thrown to find out that no one had told her that Danny had become co-owner of The Shadow Room. When Christine threw her marriage to Danny in Phyllis’ face, Phyllis chided Daniel for not defending her. Phyllis was shocked when Daniel hugged her and admitted that he was glad she’d stayed in town.

Billy and Sally discussed baby names and playfully bantered about whether their child was a boy or a girl. Audra and Chelsea clashed but put up a friendly façade for Sally’s benefit.

Lily returned from Chicago and approached Nate and Stephanie at the GCAC. Lily asked to speak to Nate alone. She confided to her cousin that her cancer might have returned. Nate encouraged her to take things one step at a time. Lily later hid her potential medical crisis from Cane.
