On Thursday's episode of The Young and the Restless, Holden and Audra finally came to an understanding; Audra agreed to stop verbally attacking Claire, and Holden agreed that he won't tell Claire the whole truth about their L.A. secret.
But what if someone in Crimson Lights or Society overhears them talking about it? Here are three possible characters who might find out about the secret:
Victoria Newman on The Young and the Restless

We know that Claire (Hayley Erin) has been itching to find out whatever dirty deed Audra (Zuleyka Silver) was involved in during her time in L.A. We're expecting Claire to be the first person to learn what the secret is, but what if The Young and the Restless writers decide to surprise us? What if her mother, Victoria (Amelia Heinle), is the one who learns about it first?
Victoria frequently hangs out at Crimson Lights, Society, and the GCAC -- all places where Audra and Holden (Nathan Owens) whisper about the secret. What if Victoria happens to be at one of those places one day with Nate (Sean Dominic)? They've been reconnecting over the past few months. What if they overhear Audra and Holden talking about the gallery owner whom Holden accidentally killed when he was trying to prevent him from attacking Audra? What if they overhear that Holden buried the man in an unmarked grave, as Audra happened to mention on Thursday's episode?
Victoria is suspicious of Holden as it is, and she isn't entirely comfortable about the fact that Claire is friends with him. Would she tell Claire what she overheard? What if she doesn't? What if Victoria goes directly to Holden and warns him to stay away from Claire -- or else she will tell Claire about the killing in L.A.?
Billy Abbott

Even though we might expect Audra's best friend, Sally (Courtney Hope), to overhear Audra and Holden talk about the man Holden accidentally killed in L.A., what if Billy (Jason Thompson) overhears it instead? Again, that would be a good way for The Young and the Restless writers to surprise us. Billy is Sally's partner in both love and business, and he knows how much Sally wants to hire Audra to work with them at Abbott Communications. He knows that Sally would be devastated if she knew the secret that Audra's been carrying around.
He might wrestle with his conscience about whether or not he should tell her. If he tells her, it could become one of those don't-shoot-the-messenger scenarios. Sally might turn her anger on him because she won't want to believe that her best friend stole half a million dollars from someone years ago and has been covering up the fact that Holden accidentally killed the man while trying to protect her.
Ultimately, we don't think Billy would keep the damaging secret from Sally for very long. But it may cause short-term problems between them, because she might think he misunderstood what he heard between Holden and Audra.
Kyle Abbott

Kyle (Michael Mealor) tried to find out Audra's secret when he went to L.A. in 2025. He asked Sienna (Tamara Braun), but she refused to tell him anything. He has it in for both Audra and Holden, so if he found out the secret and was able to expose them both, then that would be like killing two birds with one stone for Kyle. Even though he's done with Claire, he might still like to use the information to his advantage somehow.
There are so many things about this L.A. secret that don't make sense. Was the gallery owner reported missing? If he were a successful gallery owner, then he should have been. Did the L.A. police try to find him? Surely, the man had artist clients who were calling him and trying to track him down, if not by phone, then by e-mail. But Holden and Audra made it sound as though Holden accidentally killed him, put him in the trunk of his car, and buried him in an unmarked grave -- and that was the end of that. Isn't anyone in L.A. trying to locate this man's whereabouts?
For all we know, maybe he isn't even dead. He could have awoken and crawled out of the grave. This is a soap, after all. We've seen it happen before. When Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott), Sharon (Sharon Case), Phyllis (then Gina Tognoni), and Victoria buried J.T. Hellstrom (Thad Luckinbill) in Chancellor Park in 2018, believing he was dead, it turned out that he was still alive. Somehow, he managed to dig himself out of the grave.
So, is there a chance that the gallery owner is still alive and may make another appearance somewhere down the road on The Young and the Restless? Will he show up to torment Audra and Holden? We wouldn't be surprised. Stay tuned, Y&R fans!
