Last Friday's spoilers for The Young and the Restless this week say that Victor will make a shocking decision to help Nick. Could that decision be that he will ask his archenemy, Jack Abbott, to help Nick overcome his drug addiction?
Jack's talk with Nikki on The Young and the Restless

Jack (Peter Bergman) told Nikki he wants to be Nick's (Joshua Morrow) sponsor. Jack knows what Nick is going through because he suffered an addiction to painkillers himself years ago.
Victor (Eric Braeden) is still angry about the reckless way that Jack went about saving a drunken Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) in the GCAC hotel suite in 2024. Jack overdosed on drugs in a last-ditch effort to sober her up, and it miraculously worked.
The last thing Victor would ever want to do is ask Jack for a favor. But Victor is always vowing to protect his family, no matter what. We know he doesn't want to see his son's life spiral out of control because of drugs. Perhaps Victor is desperate to do whatever it takes to get Nick the help and support he needs, and if that means asking Jack for help, then so be it.
Nick passes out from fentanyl abuse

The spoilers for this week look dramatic and suspenseful. Nick passes out from the fentanyl he's been secretly buying. It was awfully weird that he made that last drug purchase right in front of Chancellor Park Cafe. What if a friend or an acquaintance had been sitting at one of the tables, sipping coffee or hot cocoa from one of those pretty sky-blue mugs? He would have been seen! We wonder why he's even walking around town. He should have checked himself into a drug rehab facility as soon as he returned from Las Vegas.
Nick has been under a lot of stress in his mission to bring down his longtime enemy, Matt Clark (Roger Howarth). Based on the spoilers, it looks like all of that stress and anxiety is finally catching up with him. If he ends up in the hospital, will we finally see Dr. Elena Dawson (Brytni Sarpy)? Does she even work at Genoa City Memorial Hospital anymore? Elena popped up in a classic episode on Monday, but her presence today could help Nick kick his habit!
Perhaps this is the week we will see a turning point for Victor. Will he finally realize it's time to ask Jack for assistance? Will the Mustache swallow his pride to save Nick's life? We certainly hope that Victor would be willing to put aside his hatred for Jack, at least temporarily, if it means getting his son the help he desperately needs. Jack understands the temptations with which Nick is struggling, so he could be an excellent source of moral support for the man who was once his stepson.
Spoilers say Victoria will seek Jack's help this week

Last week on Y&R, Victoria (Amelia Heinle) checked in with Nick to see how he's been doing. They've always been close siblings, so when he told her he's being very "zen," she replied, "You don't do zen." Victoria knows him better than just about anyone else. He should know he's not fooling her. He's still using fentanyl, and this week, it's finally going to take its toll.
The Y&R spoilers for this week also say that Victoria is going to seek Jack's help. We assume that she will ask him to help Nick. Considering how close Victoria and Victor are, perhaps she will convince her father that Jack is the best person for Nick to turn to. Seeing Nick pass out will be traumatic for Victor. It could be enough of a gut punch to convince him to put aside his bad blood with Jack to save Nick's life. Victor will need to humble himself to do that. "Victor" and "humble" are two words that don't normally belong in the same sentence! But this is a life-or-death situation. The Mustache will need to pull out all the stops to save his son. If that means he needs to call a truce with Jack, will Victor agree to it? Could that be the shocking decision that he makes this week to help Nick? Stay tuned for the answer, Y&R fans!
