Last Friday's episode of The Young and the Restless was a difficult one for Chelsea, as she learned a hard truth about Adam. When she asked him whether he misses his card shark persona, Spider, he admitted that he misses the rush he got from that life. Will this confession create a rift in their relationship?

On Y&R's Friday episode, Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan) was concerned when she walked into the Newman ranch and noticed Adam (Mark Grossman) shuffling a deck of cards. She saw a gleam in his eyes that worried her, so she asked him whether he missed his old life as a card shark in Las Vegas. Even though he hated to admit it, he confessed that there was a part of him that missed the rush he got from playing poker during his days as Spider.

That was news that Chelsea didn't want to hear. So, what does his confession mean for their relationship? Now that Adam got a renewed taste of life in the fast lane during his trip to Vegas with Nick (Joshua Morrow), will it be hard for him to leave that life behind for good, now that he's back in Genoa City? Will his life in GC with Chelsea and their son, Connor (Judah Mackey), be enough to keep him happy and fulfilled? Or will it be hard for him to shake the desire to return to his Spider identity?

He wasn't totally honest with Chelsea about him and Riza

When Chelsea asked Adam what happened between him and Riza (Tina Casciani) in Vegas, he wasn't entirely honest with her. While he was honest when he said he didn't have sex with Riza, he did share kisses with her, which he didn't tell Chelsea about. Even Nick, during one of his sober moments, asked Adam, "How far are you willing to take things with this woman?" Adam didn't answer, and he looked like he wasn't even sure himself.

Adam told Chelsea that everything he did in Vegas was purely business. That was partially true, since he only kissed Riza because he was trying to keep his Spider persona intact. He was trying to get Riza to trust him so that he and Nick could track down Matt Clark (Roger Howarth). The Newman brothers both suspected that Riza had a connection to Matt in Vegas.

But even though Adam kissed Riza so he wouldn't blow his cover, Chelsea wouldn't be happy to hear about the kisses. She would want complete honesty from him. When the Newmans were in Vegas, we saw the uncomfortable looks on Chelsea's face when Adam reminded Riza about everything they had been through together. We wonder whether Chelsea will ever learn about the kisses. If she does, will she ask Adam why he didn't mention them?

If Chelsea hadn't come to Vegas, what would have happened?

Chelsea surprised Adam when she showed up in Vegas. We can't help wondering what would have happened if she hadn't appeared unexpectedly. Riza was attracted to him and seemed like she wanted to take things to the next level. If Chelsea hadn't shown up out of the blue, would Adam have slept with Riza?

We know he loves Chelsea and doesn't want to hurt her. But the Newmans were in desperate straits, knowing that Matt was at large and they didn't know where he was. Nick knew it was only a matter of time before he would come after their family again. And after Riza pointed that gun at Adam when he first arrived in Vegas, he worked awfully hard to do whatever he could to earn her trust. On top of that, he looked like he was enjoying those kisses with her. If Chelsea hadn't come to Vegas when she did, would Adam have given in to Riza and slept with her? Perhaps that's a question that Chelsea should ask herself!

And what's going to happen now that Adam admitted there's a part of him that misses being Spider? He knows he can't have that life back while continuing his domestic life with Chelsea and Connor. Chelsea will want him to pick one or the other. She will want to know which life he can't live without. After all, Genoa City doesn't have the thrill and excitement that Vegas is known for.

So, is this the beginning of the end for Adam and Chelsea? Was his confession to her a sign that they are slowly headed for splitsville? Or will Adam get that longing out of his system once the Vegas trip is far behind him? Tell us what you think, Y&R fans!
