The Young and the Restless: Who will be the first to see Matt in Genoa City?

Now that we know that The Young and the Restless' Matt Clark is alive and he's headed for Genoa City, we're wondering who will be the first GC resident to see him? The Newmans think he's dead, but they should know better by now! Sienna should sleep with one eye open. She thought she killed him in the Nevada desert, but Matt is like a horror-movie villain who never dies!

Sienna (Tamara Braun) insisted that she had killed Matt (Roger Howarth) in the Nevada desert, but she couldn't remember any specifics. Was it self-defense or cold-blooded murder? Noah (Lucas Adams) insisted to Sharon (Sharon Case) that it had to be self-defense, as he refused to believe that Sienna would kill someone on purpose -- not even a violent person like Matt.

At the end of last Friday's episode, we saw an unconscious Matt lying in the desert with a bruise on his forehead. As the camera zoomed in on his face, his eyes opened. No surprise there! We knew he couldn't be dead -- not yet, anyway.

In Friday's sneak preview for this week's Y&R episodes, we saw a waitress talking to him. He showed her a card with the words "Genoa City Athletic Club" on it, and he asked her about the distance from there to GC. Who will be the first unfortunate GC resident to come across Matt after he arrives there?

Is Matt's ultimate goal to seek revenge against Victor?

Matt has yet to seek revenge against Victor for wiping out all of his finances online with the AI program. We can't imagine that he will let the "Mustache" get away with that! Will one of Matt's goals in GC be to target Victor? Might Victor be the next person who is kidnapped?

We've had so many kidnappings on Y&R these past couple of years that it's hard to keep track of the number of times it's occurred. And since Victor kidnapped Jack (Peter Bergman) and Lily (Christel Khalil), it would be poetic justice if someone else were to kidnap him! So, wouldn't it be epic if Matt's ultimate revenge against the Newmans is to kidnap Victor, and as ransom, he demands that Victor's family return all the money that Victor took when he wiped him out?

Perhaps Matt will somehow manage to evade the Newman security team, sneak into the ranch, and surprise Victor. If he doesn't kidnap him, then perhaps he could hold him captive in the cell that Victor keeps in the basement of his house. That would be a twist that most of us wouldn't see coming. The room is most likely soundproof, so no one would hear Victor scream for help. He would suffer the same punishment that he inflicted on others in the past, namely Jordan Howard (Colleen Zenk) and Michael Scott (Nick Benedict). We will never forget that he fed Michael rats!

Which one of these four people will see Matt first?

One of these four characters will most likely be the person who has a run-in with Matt first. Will Matt kidnap one, or all, of them again? We hope not. How many times can he kidnap the same people? At some point, he must get tired of it!

The Newmans want to believe he is dead, but they need to keep their guard up. Sienna was acting antsy and anxious. She admitted that she doesn't remember what happened when she was with Matt. If that is true, then why does she keep insisting he's dead? Some Y&R fans wonder whether she's been in cahoots with Matt all along. The fact that she was defensive when Sharon asked whether she felt Matt's pulse makes Sienna look suspicious. She never answered the question.

Apparently, though, Sienna did hit him, since he has a bloody bruise on his forehead -- unless someone else came along and attacked him? So much of her encounter with Matt doesn't make sense. We have many unanswered questions.

We wonder whether Noah will be left heartbroken after this nightmare is all over. Is Sienna as trustworthy as he believes she is? Perhaps it's time for him to consider rekindling his relationship with Audra (Zuleyka Silver)!

When Matt does arrive in GC, it would be great if either Victor or Sienna is the one who sees him first. If it's Victor, then maybe Matt will have a revenge plan in store that he will put into motion. If it's Sienna, then hopefully we will get answers to our burning questions about what happened during their encounter in the desert. Stay tuned, Y&R fans!
