The Young and the Restless: Will Adam sleep with Riza and betray Chelsea?

The Young and the Restless' Las Vegas storyline is heating up for Adam. He's been working so hard to convince Riza to trust him that every other scene they're in, he's kissing her. He's doing whatever he can to bring him and Nick one step closer to finding Matt Clark. But will he end up betraying Chelsea by sleeping with Riza?

We know that The Young and the Restless' Matt Clark (Roger Howarth) is partners with Riza (Tina Casciani) and is also romantically involved with her. So, why does she keep hitting on Adam (Mark Grossman)? Do she and Matt see other people, or do they have an exclusive relationship?

If it's casual, then we guess Matt wouldn't mind that she keeps making moves on Adam. But if it's serious, then Adam may find himself in the same dangerous situation that Noah (Lucas Adams) was in when Matt was married to Sienna (Tamara Braun). Sienna had an affair with Noah, which made Matt so furious that he kidnapped them!

Adam isn't having an affair with Riza, but where is all this kissing leading to? Is he so determined to find Matt that he will risk his relationship with Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan) by sleeping with Riza? That remains to be seen. He'd better be careful, because when Matt is hellbent on seeking revenge, there is no telling what he will do to get it!

If only Chelsea knew about all the smooching that Adam's been doing with Riza! Has he even called her since he and Nick (Joshua Morrow) arrived in Vegas? We guess not, since she and Sharon (Sharon Case) called them and asked Nick for an update on the progress that he and Adam have made.

We have a bad feeling that Adam's time with Riza is going to damage his relationship with Chelsea. He and Chelsea are in a good place now, raising their son, Connor (Judah Mackey), together and living on the Newman grounds as a family. But it could all unravel if Adam gets too close to Riza. We don't know whether Chelsea will forgive him if he does. If he sleeps with Riza, then it might break them up for good.

Chelsea already has concerns about Adam revisiting his dark persona, Spider. She fears that might taint the person he's become. She hasn't even considered the possibility that this dark persona may lure him into bed with another woman!

Is Nick acting as Adam's conscience?

In The Young and the Restless' sneak preview for this week, Nick asks Adam, "How far are you willing to go with this woman?" Thank you, Nick! That's exactly what Adam needs to hear. It seems that Nick is acting as Adam's conscience by asking that question. It's his subtle way of reminding Adam that he has a woman back in Genoa City who loves him, and he loves her, as well.

Nick and Adam haven't gotten along in the past, but lately, their brotherly relationship has been changing for the better. Nick knows that Adam has a solid relationship with Chelsea, and he doesn't want Adam to do something that may destroy it. The Newman brothers have come a long way, and that's a good thing!

It's interesting that General Hospital has a similar storyline about two brothers —Sonny (Maurice Benard) and Ric (Rick Hearst). For decades, they didn't get along either, because Ric has a conniving past (just as Adam does). He was always doing things to hurt Sonny and his loved ones, just as Adam always did things that hurt the other Newmans. Now, Sonny and Ric have buried the hatchet and are slowly building a brotherly connection, just as Nick and Adam have been doing.

So, is Adam going to put his relationship with Chelsea on the line and sleep with Riza, if he thinks it will earn her trust? He ruined his last relationship, with Sally (Courtney Hope), when he cheated on her with Chelsea. Will he end up ruining his relationship with Chelsea by cheating on her with Riza? Let's hope he learned his lesson and doesn't cheat again!
