On Friday's episode of The Young and the Restless, Devon wondered why he and Nate haven't heard from Lily. Little do they know that Victor kidnapped her, Charlie, and Mattie in order to persuade Cane to return Newman Enterprises to him. Will Devon blast Victor for taking Lily and the twins?
Devon's dilemma on The Young and the Restless

The Young and the Restless' Devon (Bryton James) and Nate (Sean Dominic) are becoming concerned, because they haven't heard from Lily (Christel Khalil). She hasn't texted them or called to check in with them regarding work issues for Winters Inc. Devon has no idea that Victor (Eric Braeden) has been using his sister as leverage in his war with Cane (Billy Flynn). Wait until he finds out that the Mustache (who happens to be his father-in-law) kidnapped Lily, Mattie (Lexie Stevenson), and Charlie (Noah Alexander Gerry) and is using them as a bargaining chip to strongarm Cane into returning NE to Victor. Devon is going to explode!
This would be interesting to witness, because it's the opposite of the way Devon usually behaves toward Victor. He has always been on good terms with Victor. He always acts polite and diplomatic toward him in their scenes together, but will that change after he finds out about Victor's diabolical scheme?
Devon already suffered through Dominic's kidnapping

Goodness gracious, how many more of Devon's relatives are going to be kidnapped this month on The Young and the Restless? He already suffered through the kidnapping of his son, Dominic (Ethan Ray Clark), when Mariah (Camryn Grimes) snatched him and took him on a road trip. Devon sure as heck doesn't need to deal with another kidnapping in his family. What's worse is that Victor didn't only take his sister. He took his nephew and his niece as well!
It would be awesome if Devon loses his temper and lets Victor have it. Who does the Mustache think he is, kidnapping people without even caring how their absence will effect their loved ones?
But Devon is in a difficult position

Unfortunately, Devon needs to watch that he doesn't get too angry at Victor, because it may end up driving a wedge between him and his wife, Abby (Melissa Ordway). Sometimes it's hard to remember that Abby is Victor's daughter, since we don't see them together very often on The Young and the Restless. She would not be pleased if her father and her husband were at odds with each other, even though it wouldn't be the first time that one of Victor's son-in-laws butted heads with him.
Abby's nerves are already frayed due to Dominic's kidnapping and the fact that Mariah is back in Genoa City, instead of in prison or a mental health facility. If Devon raises hell with Victor, after all the worry and concern he and Abby just suffered during Dominic's kidnapping, then that won't sit well with her. She needs peace right now. She's having a hard time forgiving Mariah, and we don't know yet how much of a strain that may put on her marriage. So, if Devon loses his cool with Victor, then that may put an even bigger strain on his marriage to Abby.
And we can only imagine how angry Devon will be when he learns that Lily agreed to go along with Victor's kidnapping plan! He will ask her why in the world she would do a thing like that, and what did Victor promise her in exchange for her cooperation? It looks like the stage is set for us to witness some real drama unfold in the Winters family -- and between the Winters and Victor. Stay tuned, Y&R fans!
