The Young and the Restless: Will Holden and Claire rekindle their passion in New York?

On The Young and the Restless, Holden and Claire are about to go on their third trip together. The first two trips were to Los Angeles. The third one will be to New York. Will they rekindle the passion they shared on their first trip to L.A.?

Claire (Hayley Erin) has been a supportive friend to Holden (Nathan Owens) since his mother, Stephanie (Vivica A. Fox), gave him the shocking news that Malcolm (Shemar Moore) is his father. On top of that, Malcolm needs a bone marrow transplant to treat his aplastic anemia. With Cane (Billy Flynn) as a donor match, the surgery is set to take place in New York.

Now that Claire has agreed to join Holden on the trip, the first question that springs to mind is, will they rekindle the excitement and passion they shared on their first trip to Los Angeles? It happened on Halloween night, and it hasn't happened since then. She doesn't fully trust him, as she suspects that he hasn't told her the whole truth about what happened with Audra (Zuleyka Silver) when they lived in L.A. years ago.

Is that secret ever going to come out? It's been dragged out for almost a year and a half. Holden accidentally killed an art gallery owner in The Shadow Room when he was about to attack Audra. He then buried the man in an unknown grave. And no one in GC knows about any of this yet, after all this time? Not even Claire? She did all that digging during their second trip to L.A., but apparently, she uncovered nothing. Perhaps it's time that she asks Detective Burrow (Matt Cohen) to do some investigating, since no one has seen the gallery owner in years.

Will something happen in New York to rekindle the flame?

Holden and Claire have only shared one steamy night when Claire went to L.A. last autumn to find herself. She had just broken up with Kyle (Michael Mealor), and she wanted to do some traveling and be her own person. She wasn't ready to give him the commitment he wanted.

We haven't seen Claire interact with Kyle the past few weeks, but she seems to be growing closer to Holden. He's been confiding in her about feeling overwhelmed to have a family he never knew about. Learning about his biological father's illness has been another overwhelming experience that Holden has been struggling with. Claire understands what it's like to have a close relative keep important information from you about your family. Her Aunt Jordan (Colleen Zenk) did it to her when she kept Claire from her Newman family all of her life. Claire knows what it's like to have a new family, one that she never knew about.

Since this is something that Holden and Claire have in common, they now share a unique bond that they were not aware of before. Could that bond pull them back into each other's arms during their time together in New York?

Will Claire and Audra ever stop sniping at each other? It was pretty obvious that their argument at Chancellor Park Cafe triggered something in Claire that motivated her to say yes to the New York trip with Holden. Is she hoping to find answers about the L.A. secret? Perhaps she thinks the art gallery owner relocated to New York. That would make sense, since New York is an artsy place that's filled with galleries, theaters, dance halls, and other cultural venues.

Will this trip be the start of something big between Holden and Claire? He told her that New York has a whole different vibe than L.A. Will she be too distracted seeing the sights and enjoying that vibe to think about his L.A. secret? Will Holden and Claire recapture the passion they shared in L.A. last Halloween?
