Y&R Recap November 3: Adam Wants a Baby While Abby Thinks She's Pregnant

On the Tuesday, November 3, 2026, episode of The Young and the Restless, Chelsea grew angry, Lily got an offer, and Billy had a one-track mind.

Baby Talk

Chelsea looked at Adam like he had two heads when he suggested they have another child when their first child is already a teenager. Adam said he was serious, which just set Chelsea off because they had agreed that one child was enough. Adam wanted to reconsider. The house has felt empty since Connor has been in school.

Adam thought a baby would make their lives full, but Chelsea knew this had to do with Ruby and not some sudden desire to expand their family. Chelsea was alarmed at Adam's attitude and told him just as much, pointing out that Victor also found Adam's attachment to Ruby to be alarming.

As Adam tried to coax her, Chelsea was adamant that she did not want another baby just because Sally and Billy had one. Connor's OCD was finally under control and she worried what a new sibling might do to throw him off balance. "I think he'd be excited, at least as excited as I would be," Adam argued. He was insistent that this had nothing to do with Ruby, Sally, and Billy (sure, Adam).

Chelsea grew serious and told Adam that she knew he was hurting to see Sally with a new baby after they had lost Ava. Adam said he knew nobody could replace Ava, but he also was reminded of all the time he had lost with Connor. When he was a baby, Chelsea wouldn't even tell Adam that he was Connor's father. Chelsea couldn't believe Adam would throw that time back in her face. She was a different person then and didn't need to be reminded. A disgusted Chelsea walked out of the house.

At Society, Devon and Abby said their goodbyes as he was on his way to the DC area to hear the Articulettes perform. Lily was a big fan and they looked forward to the trip. Abby recalled their last trip to Maryland and hoped there wouldn't be any freak tornadoes this time around. Devon also planned to do some research for his school, but he worried about Leslie Thomas. He was afraid she'd show up and cause trouble at the recording session, but also wanted to focus on his new college.

Suddenly, Abby started feeling faint, so she sat down. She also confessed that she had been feeling some nausea over the past few days, but she didn't want Devon to cancel his trip. Maybe she'd caught whatever was going around from Dominic. When Devon saw how run down his wife looked, he wanted her to take a break so they could have a family vacation for the holidays. Abby thought that Society would be too busy, but Devon coaxed her to get Tessa to run the show for a bit.

After Devon left, a flustered Chelsea walked in and needed a stiff drink. Abby reminded her that they used to be friends when they worked together at the Grand Phoenix, so Chelsea opened up and told Abby about Adam wanting to have another baby. He has gotten way too attached to Ruby already.

Chelsea did not want to have a baby and certainly didn't want all that comes with pregnancy. As she listed off the pesky pregnancy symptoms, Abby got a look on her face. "Those symptoms. That's the way I've been feeling. Could I be pregnant?" Abby wondered.

An Offer for Lily

At Crimson Lights, Lily sat with Diane and listened to a surprising offer. In her effort to compete with Vibrante, Jabot Classic was going to offer a vintage lip liner, and she wanted Lily to model it. After all, she was the young face of Jabot years ago and would be the perfect fit.

The problem was the photoshoot was happening when Lily would be away. Diane said she was willing to wait, so Lily said she would be willing to consider it. Of course, Cane was all for it and encouraged Lily to give it a try. "The world would be seriously deprived if they could not look at Lily Winters," he said.

Lily admitted that she had left modeling in the past years ago, but what's the harm in doing it just one more time?

Cane thought it could be a way to relive how they first met. The two flirted back and forth in front of Diane for a bit, until Lily finally decided to accept Diane's offer. Devon soon showed up to take Lily to the airport for their trip, but did not like seeing her kissing Cane.

Baby Visits

Jack needed another baby fix (and to talk to Billy), so he stopped by to see Ruby and learn the latest on Jill's condition. Jill was doing better, but Billy didn't think it was the right time to hash things out with her. Billy also mentioned that he saw Kyle in London, which was a surprise to Jack, as well as to Diane, who had just shown up.

The foursome made some small talk, but Jack got serious when Diane and Sally left the room to change a diaper. Jack wanted to know if Billy was going to go after Chancellor again now that the baby had been born healthy. Billy did not like where this line of conversation was going, so he left the room.

When Sally returned, she asked where the heck Billy was. Sally admitted that she was concerned about Billy and so was Jack. But Jack was also sure that Billy wanted to focus on her and Ruby.
