Y&R Recap November 5: Nikki Flips out at Jabot Through the Decades Photo Shoot

On the Thursday, November 5, 2026, episode of The Young and the Restless, the old Jabot models posed for the cameras, Victoria panicked, and Nikki declared war.

At Genoa City Memorial, Nate asked Dr. Andrew Bishop if he could observe a surgery. Andrew told Nate that he was now the person who would determine if Nate was ready for work again to avoid a conflict of interest appearance. Nate didn't like this idea, but he really didn't have any other options.

When Stephanie walked in on this argument, she asked what it was all about, so Andrew told her. Bishop said Nate was talking too much in the last sugery he watched, so Stephanie assured the doctor that Nate would keep quiet this time. However, he did need to be observing as part of his efforts to get his license back.

Andrew thought that this was none of Stephanie's business. Nate tried to put a stop to all the arguing. "This is a complicated surgery and everyone needs to focus," he said. Andrew finally left to prep for surgery. Nate and Stephanie took some time at Society where they told the other how much they'd miss each other. Stephanie worried Andrew would be a problem. Nate told Stephanie to just enjoy her time with her son and Malcolm.

When they returned to the hospital, Andrew informed them that his patient was fine, but Nate would not be observing any of his surgeries, thank you very much. "I do not think your presence is helpful. My OR, my rules," he said.

Is It Really The End?

At the GCAC, Kyle tried to ignore that Victoria was there, but he kept texting her and distracting her. When he walked over, he told her that he didn't want last night to be their last time. She felt the same, but she also wanted him to go in case someone saw them talking.

Nikki appeared out of nowhere and told him to stop bothering her daughter about Vibrante. "Shes very busy running Newman Enterprises. She doesn't need any more distractions," Nikki said. Kyle walked away so Nikki could sit down with Victoria. She quickly started complaining about Diane.

At the bar, Jack sat down after dropping Diane off at Crimson Lights and made some small talk about London and jet lag. When Kyle walked away to take a call, Jack made his way over to Nikki and Victoria. Nikki also soon walked away, so Jack sat down with Victoria to talk about London.

Victoria didn't want to talk about it, so she changed the subject to Baby Ruby. Jack then brought up Claire and wondered if she and Kyle might one day reunite. This caused Victoria to feel uncomfortable. Jack admitted that he just wanted Kyle to find the right woman.

When Jack left, Victoria was nearly in a panic. She told Kyle what just happened with Jack and said they needed to end things because too many people could get hurt, including Claire. "We're being selfish. We know there's no real feelings here. We just have to figure out a way to control this attaction we have for each other," Victoria said. Victoria loved what they were doing, but they couldn't do it anymore. Kyle seemed to understand, but he hesitated as he walked away.

The Photo Shoot

When Jack walked onto the patio at Crimson Lights and saw Diane's 1970s get-up, he complimented her and remembered how she looked back in the day as a Jabot model. He knew that John Abbott would love this new campaign. Diane was determined to make her late father-in-law proud. "I feel it's a tribute to John Abbott himself," Diane said. "I want to show the world that Jabot is a classic brand that can blow any competition out of the water."

When Lily and Christine arrived (Lily is also in Maryland, for quite an amazing feat), Cane and Danny also admired the looks. Jack reminds the couples they all met thanks to their modeling days at Jabot. Look how a cosmetics company can bring so many people together. Christine was just thrilled to be there and complimented Diane on her brilliant campaign.

This Lily is back from Maryland and started gushing about the Articulettes as they waited for the shoot to begin. This was her second exciting thing to do in one week. Danny and Sharon also made some small talk. Danny couldn't wait to get live music at the Shadow Room. It was coming soon.

Lily and Sharon then got serious. Sharon understoof what the wait was like waiting on biopsy results. "Ive been lucky. My scans have been normal for the past few years. There's always that fear that it come back," Sharon said.

Sharon told Lily that she could talk to her about anything at any time and hoped she'd reach out to her in the future. They agreed to be there for each other. "Today is actually a celebration that we're well and happy," Sharon said. Lily agreed as they heard Christine laughing.

Out on the patio, Christine enjoyed her photoshoot as it reminded her of her youth as a Jabot model. When she was done, she reminded everyone how fun modeling was, despite all the work and stress. Lily was the next to pose for the cameras. Lily and Cane even modeled for a few shots together. When the ladies posed together, they even pulled Esther into the shot for her turn on camera.

Before the day was through, Nikki walked in and was appalled to see that Sharon was allowing the competition to use Crimson Lights. How could she betray her company like that? She also went off on Lily for daring to participate, after noting that she was also a former Jabot model. Diane and Nikki started sparring immediately. Nikki had an idea of her own planned and couldn't wait to see how Diane fought back.
